When you play the Train Game...?

For those of you who play the Train Game...how many of you replay games? If you get a yard jam, do you replay the game or click on *new* for a new game? I've started to hit *replay* everytime I get a yard jam and have found that there are only a few games I can not get at least one or two trains to leave the station. But, I have had a few games that I just could not get even one train complete.

What % of your games do you win with all 8 trains complete? For me, I consider 5 and more completed trains to be a win. I think that this is my favorite game...of all time!

I've never been able to win two straight in a row, but I do win pretty often. Once I've won, that's it for the day.

Have hit replay occasionally!

I rarely replay the same game unless I made a stupid mistake.

I only consider it winning if I get all 8 trains completed. I do that about 80-90% of the time. I don't get many yard jams; I'm almost always able to finish at least one or two of the trains.

I finally broke down and paid so I can play the Train game whenever I want. Now that's dedication!

Is there a 12-step program for the Train Game? I'm hopelessly addicted.

pogo games ask you to sign up but they don't ask a lot of info. You can also become a member for about 29 a year and play all the games free with no ads. I'm not a member and there are a lot of games to play and they all have a chat box. There are ALL KINDS of games to play...I love it. patti Here is a link that might be useful: pogo

Lily, I would play with you too! Maybe you can find a source of games in your community. A venue in my area has Game Night once a month, attended by people of all ages. Some of the games look rather intense and seem to require a lot of thought (Pandemic is one), but I've played lighter games there with a friend. If you're close to my age you could probably find games at a local senior center. You could also poll your friends to see if there's any interest. Who knows--some may be silently yearning for a fun game. Fran, I was thinking about bridge recently. I haven't played since the 1960's, but I'd be willing to read up on it and see if I could join a group. However, I remember my husband was not thrilled with my bridge playing. He was a serious duplicate bridge player, and I like to chat while I play. Chances are the local groups would feel the same way my husband did about my playing style. LOL Foggy, I looked up Telestrations, and it sounds like great fun. But I wonder if the two artists in my group would spoil some of the fun. They are very good. Playing Cranium on my team recently, one of them had to draw a saddle with her eyes closed. It was perfect. Socks, thanks for the tip about Hoot Owl Hoot and Peaceable games!

Say it aint so!! Shucks, I've been having fun with it. DD(15) and I have 'train offs'. We have two computers side by side and compete for the better outcome. Talk about stress! Yes, I replay yard jams hoping I learn something. Darn it, I guess I'll get more chores done this week.

Oh no no no.... it wasn't even here for a whole week. So sad!.I have yet to replay one, but was thinking I'd try that tonight... and then Glenda hit us with the news!

I like the train game because I can take my time. Swatting at something makes the old artiritis flair up. Arthritis, that is.

Fun while it lasted.

I hit replay if I have fewer than 4 trains leaving the station. I have to get at least half, right? But there have been a few times when I've replayed the same one about ten times and gotten only one or two - then I get mad and have to quit. But I've gotten better with practice. Makes me understand my 6 year old's fascination with Indiana Jones on the Playstation....

My win rate (all 8 trains leaving) is about 60% of the time. I never replay a game though.

Wow, you guys are GOOD! I win with all 8 trains only about 5% of the time. I think I get 5 - 7 trains at least 60%. I have started to replay if I only get 1 train. I guess I'm not in the same league with you smart, puzzel people. But, I still like it and, I try...
