Loui's for their wonderful chicken pot pie, and asked for some extra crust.

They give a huge serving, with lots of chicken, carrots, peas. etc, so I didn't need anything else.

I couldn't make up my mind on what to eat that I'd cooked yesterday.....tilapia or salisbury turkey. So I took small portions of each. Problem solved. I added a boiled potato and some peas.

I fixed myself some sliced peaches and cottage cheese. Sorry Patti it wasn't Michigan cottage cheese. Meijer didn't have any so I just got Meijer brand. Going to bed soon.

A friend of hubby's was going to have a friend of his contact dh to sub in his band, when the regular guy can't.

I had potatoes on to boil, the beans trimmed and sausages in the skillet. Hubby checking his emails and the guy wants to see him at 5:30. So I just nuked him one of the last 2 cobs of corn, and he had a bowl of Shreddies and off he went. He's then rehearsing with the country band afterwards, so I've got the evening to myself.

I cooked some of the new potatoes, and the other cob of corn...they were getting old now. :) The beans and sausages went into the frig, along with the rest of the potatoes, and that's tomorrow's dinner!

Probably just throw together some Fajitas, I have not been eating much my stomach seems to be on a roller coaster ride lately.

Chicken livers with onions and mushrooms...Yummmm, mashed potatoes and Italian green beans, at one of our favorite restaurants.

I'm dressed up after attending a friend's 101st birthday party....yes, she's 101!!!

We're going out for dinner. I work from home so getting dressed up and putting make up on is a rare event!!!!

I had a deliious Chicken Salad Sandwich and bowl of chicken noodle soup that I brought home from Chic-Fil-A today.
also a few waffle fries in the car on the way home.

Sue, have you been canning again today? Harry has cottage cheese with fruit of some kind almost every day for lunch. I notice he's cut back lately. Must be getting tired of it.

Nice to have a leg up on tomorrow's dinner, Jas! I would think it's quite a compliment to be asked to play with a band other than your own. Good for him! Aaah, an evening to yourself. What a luxury!

Dees, 101--wowzer! Hope her party is a lot of fun for her (and you, since you have to get dressed up). I haven't had heels on since my DGD's wedding over a year ago--and then I only had them on for about 3 hours. LOL!

I brought DH a pan fried chicken dinner home and I have been eating some fresh cucumbers.

Linda, I just about always order liver of some kind when we eat out--if they have it on the menu. I've never had chicken livers with onions/mushrooms, but it sounds good. Especially with mashed potatoes. Yum!

Minnie, I've never had Chic-Fil-A. I didn't know they had chicken salad. They certainly are in the news a lot lately.

After frying that chicken all day, I'm not surprised that you didn't want any. Pan fried chicken is so rare these days. Most places deep fry it--which I'm not so crazy about. Bet DH was happy, happy!

Wouldn't it be great if we all lived close enough to have a block party with all this great sounding food??!! I'd have to have at least a spoonful of each item.

I do have some strange concoctions, but I have only myself to please, so.......

Corn on the cob, liver, and sliced cukes on homemade bread....and a marguerita to wash it all down.

(It does sound rather stange, doesn't it???)

Tonight was ladies night out at our club, after which we had a bite to eat. i had their special for the night which was chicken medallions in a light dried red pepper sauce with polenta. It was very good.

I made lamb, spinach casserole, steamed rice and curry sauce. Shannon invited a friend from HS to eat with us. It made me feel good when he had seconds and raved about how good everything thing was. Bobby called later this evening to see if we had any leftovers. He and Amber are coming tomorrow evening to finish them off.
