This concoction is layers alternating meat (pulled pork, brisket... or both) and garlic mashed potatoes. And instead of hot fudge with a cherry on top, its got barbecue sauce with a cherry tomato for garnish.

Absolutely. It sounds delicious. I love foods served in non-traditional ways. Like Egg or chicken Salad in a wafer ice cream cone.

I'd try it and pretty sure I'd like it. Well to be honest I don't do cherry tomatoes but otherwise it sounds good.

The following was stated: "Glyphosate breakdown via heat produces mostly aminomethylphosphonic acid, carbon monoxide/dioxide, amino acids, and water/vapor...similar to microbe breakdown, but a lot faster. ." H.Kuska comment. I am aware of the microbe breakdown products, but I am not aware of any references that state that the thermal breakdown is similar. The melting point of glyphosate is nearly 230 degrees C. That would be nearly 446 degrees F. This is the main thermal paper that I have been able to find so far. Unfortunately it does not identify the glyphosate decomposition products. Howver, it appears to me that very little glyphosate would actually decompose in normal hosehold use. The first observed decomposition product is: "By analyzing the infrared spectrum of the sample which is processed by rising temperature to 260 C at the heating rate of 6 C min-1, the most possible group loss in this stage may be methylene. Moreover, the mass loss in the first stage by TGA is in accordance with the mass loss of a group of methylene in the molecular of glyphosate." Then. "With the temperature increased, the second stage appeared the exothermic peak after a smaller main endothermic peak, and the lost mass had continued, which indicated that this stage might occur burning phase, thus exothermic phenomenon occurred. By analyzing the infrared spectrum of the sample which is processed by rising temperature to 360 C at the heating rate of 6 Cmin-1, the most possible group loss in this stage may be the group of carbonyl. Moreover, the mass loss in the second stage by TGA is in accordance with the mass loss of a carbonyl in the molecular of glyphosate." in all probability the turkey would have been fine if it was cooked properly... if i thought any poultry was undercooked, regardless of thaw method, i would zap it a bit in the microwave before i ate it!! many, many people get sick from cross contamination... counters/plates, etc not cleaned properly from the raw food that sat on it, etc....ie: if a raw turkey that happened to be tainted with samonella sat on a plate while being stuffed, then if that plate sat out and was just rinsed hastily and used to hold the cooked turkey afterwards, or a cutting board that was used for some meat and then used for raw veggies without be cleaned properly, or serving raw veggies that might be tainted from soil and not cleaned properly, or by the cook, etc simply not washing their hands when needed!... cooked food is usually unlikely to get you sick if it is cooked properly and not cross contaminated afterwards- and, it is a good idea to reheat leftovers and not eat them 'cold' esp. if they had been sitting out for any lengthy time on the table or counter!

For those that "THINK" they would be willing to try chitterlings, once you smelled them you would gag..They smell like sh_t....There is this restaurant in the town over from us that started serving them. It is a little mom and pop place that serves really good food. We use to go in there all the time and we did not know that they had started serving chitterlings on Wednesday nites starting at 4:30p.m. We walked in there and OMG is smelled like the sewer! We asked the hostess what the heck was wrong with their bathrooms...and she told us what they were serving. We walked OUT, NEVER to go back again. What was so bad, the parking lot was full.

Wildchild, cheese, egg and bacon aren't standard on a burger here but are commonly asked for as extras. If you get all three that's one "with the lot". Salad is generally mentioned because some people like it and some don't and it saves them asking if yours are with or without :-) The salad for a burger where I currently work is shredded lettuce, sliced tomato, sliced pickled beet, fried onions, and shredded carrot. Some places include sliced cucumber but I don't like cucumber :-) Burgers "with the lot" often have a catchy name which varies from business to business (and often reflects the business name). For instance if the business was "Fred Flintstone's Burgers, it might be the "Bedrock Burger". I like the "Zen Burger"- one with everything :-)

No - but only because I don't like barbeque sauce, LOL. Make it a good home made beef gravy, and I'd be in.

Actually, yes. I like my food mixed together. I don't care for gravy OR barbeque sauce, so I'd just like it with neither of those or a tiny touch of barbeque sauce.

I'd eat it if were a really good beef roast with gravy and the garlic mashed potatoes. I think the cherry tomato is overkill, but it might taste good with cooked carrots.

No. How food is plated is important to me and my appetite.

I like all those things. I would eat them on a flat plate.

I don't like my food all mixed together. I don't care for bowl meals and even some casseroles all that much. Just looking at that meat parfait Makes me gag.

I would! For dinner, not desert :-)

I think I'd rather have gravy too, instead of bbq sauce. It would be just like a 'hot beef' or 'hot pork' sandwich in a glass.

I don't enjoy eating with plastic silverware and from plastic cups. But if we could transfer that concoction to a glass container and I'd get a metal fork, I'd start in on it right away.

I guess I'm the odd one--it just doesn't look "right" to me. I like my food flat out on a plate so I can look at it all!

They have Hot Beef Sundae's at the Iowa State Fair. The Beef Producers have it on their menu.

It is similar, but in a bowl.

It is mashed potatoes, roast beef in gravy, a sprinkle of cheese with a cherry tomato on top.

I think it is would be great...I even sent the image to a friend that owns a deli/ice cream parlor called The Town Scoop.

I'd try it as I'm game to try anything but I doubt I'd like it. I don't generally like my potatoes mixed with anything but gravey. But who knows. I might like it.

Reminds me of a snack food they sell in Holland called a "Krokettin". It's got cooked meat (beef,chicken, or turkey), gravy and mashed potatoes, and it's all deep fried!

As mentioned above the title of the post had me saying, yuck no way. But seeing it and reading the description changed my mind. As long as it is not served in plastic!

No thanks! I like all those food by them selves, but somehow together doesn't seem appetizing? Give me a regular plate!
