Crack Creme and Butt Paste

I was just looking through the coupons in today's paper and ran across those two. Crack creme is for dry, cracked skin and butt cream is for baby's diaper rash. Well, it sure made me crack a smile ;-) Didja' evah?

I gave my DD some Butt Paste at her first baby shower because of the name and that it is manufactured in her DHs home state. Funny name!

Boudreaux's Butt Paste...
I always have it in my cabinet. It is great for adults also. We use it when we've got the chiggers and it is wonderful for poison ivy/oak. It sooths any type of rash or itch

Good morning ladies, I wasn't going to continue with my saga BUT everyone seems to be in the same boat with their children. My twenty y/o daughter did get herself a moving van at eighteen. She had a severe case of what I refer to as eighteenitis. She's twenty now and going to college to become a lawyer, problem is she has ruined her credit. She has no car or health insurance which is illegal in MA. She has overdrawn her bank account and the banks nasty messages come to my house. She got a scholarship for free tuition but never turned it in, I guess she was too busy being eighteen and all. I was paying her $2500 a year insurance bill until March when I decided, I'm not paying her rent anymore! I have free room and board here, school is twenty minutes from our home. It only makes matters worse when she calls me 3 days a week to pick her up and drive her to work at 8am and then to the second job at 5. I work too and this interferes with my job at times. She says that she'll move home if her boyfriend can sleep over. I told her he could sleep over on occasion BUT he would sleep downstairs and she would sleep upstairs. Well, you would have thought that I killed someone. She signed a new lease the next day!! I'm at my witts end with this kid, I'm not sure who's right and who's wrong anymore! Okay, I'm done. Any input ladies? am I just old fashioned or what? I would love to hear what some of you other moms out there think.

I sliced my foot open a while back and I found using just plain old vegetable oil and then using a gallon zip bag. You have to first understand that your feet have NO oiling mechanism like the rest of your body.......they simply depend on sweat to moisturize. The worst thing you can do is go barefoot and take super hot showers!! I learned quite a bit about feet as we have had so many family members with diabetes and foot issues that coincide. Now I soak my feet in lemon juice and water for half an hour-warm water, then apply a coat of Flexitol Foot Balm, and I use the zip bags because you can zip it but it isn't strangling the leg and blood supply but it's enough to create plenty of moisture. This method has worked very well for me.

I've just been poking around looking for something interesting, and Crack Cream caught my eye! If you don't mind another solution..... I have a prescription cream from my dermotologist called LacHydrin.It's not the sweetest smelling stuff, but it keeps my feet from cracking and heals the cracks I get when I've neglected to use it. I have tried many, many other creams and lotions and LacHydrin (or its generic counterpart) is far superior.

Glad this old thread was resurrected... After reading it i'm sticking with a drop-in sink. They're not in style but with doing all the work myself, I prefer how easy it is to replace top mount sinks. And since going with a granite composite sink, I can imagine my heavy iron pans causing cracks or chips. Now I can safely bang the sink up while washing heavy pans without too much worrying. Worst case scenario is buying a new sink and dropping it in. That's waaaay easier than ripping out an under-mount in my slightly undersized sink cabinet.

Those are funny names. Made me think of "Udderly Smooth"
a moisturizing cream made here in Canada I think.

I love the crack cream. It does wonders on cracked hands or feet. It really works. Another one is a powder out there for bikers, it's called monkey butt powder, helps with chafing:)

I saw the advertisement for Butt Paste in today's coupons. The name made me chuckle. When I talked to my sis, she said she uses it for chaffing, it works real well.

i love the crack creme. i get the liquid in a small spray bottle, spray it on my heels at night and put on socks. the best thing i have found for cracked heels.

We use the butt paste on the babies and it is great stuff.
Another funny one is Monkey Butt Powder.Wal-mart has it.It is great to prevent chafing and for diaper rash.

Because it was the only thing available (diaper rash), I used some Desitin years ago on a kitchen burn - THE BEST if you use it right away - no blister and minimal heat. Since then, I have kept a tube in the kitchen and it still works.

I saw those for the first time today and chuckled too. I can see those showing up at every baby shower for laughs. It must be just coming into the area. Only two Walmarts have it so far within 50 miles.
