Albert passed away at 1PM yesterday. He is best know for sharing his brugmansia plants. He just got interested in Plumeria, after he moved to the coast this past Dec. He was just putting in his flowerbeds at his new house. I talked to him last Saturday. He offered to let me have his trailer to bring back the big plumeria plants from John's house for K and Willey. I did not have a hitch on my car, He said his daughter took his truck to Belton, so he did not have a way to haul the trailer either. I told him I will just take my small truck, and see if I could bring a few home. When the box I had was too small to mail Andrew's Bill Morange, Albert drove 15 miles to bring me a box so I would be able to mail it to him. He was always thinking of others. He always read the plumeria forum, brugmansia forum, and the gardening in Texas forum, he told me he was so busy building his new deck and putting in flowerbeds, that he did not have time to post anymore. There have been no improvements over the last days, he does open his eyes from time to time but has no strength to communicate with them. His stroke caused bleeding in the brain, caused from high blood pressure. He is also diabetic and on dialysis 3 times a week. They are having a hard time giving him dialysis because the filter keeps clogging and he can not be given a blood thinner.Terri has not been home since he went to the hospital. We go out each day and do what needs to be done, feed the cats, get the mail and things. Thanks for the continued prayers. Sue

Thank you all so much!! Her meds were adjusted,her mask adjusted as well,to get the full benefit of the oxygen,and to my knowledge this morning,she has rallied and is coming along. thank you again!!

The wake was yesterday in a large Catholic church, which luckily was air conditioned. The crowds were enormous, the lines long, but well arranged once inside the church. The funeral was today and was a beautiful testament to a life well lived, but taken too early. The major roadways to and from the church to the burial grounds were blocked off-the motorcade was long. As we gathered at his final resting place in Lexington for the burial- there were NO dry eyes in the crowd. From there we went to a local Marriott for a luncheon and for more time to mingle with the family and friends who were part of this young man's life. Now the "kids" are off to be by themselves and will come "back home" to their family home for respite. We expect a crowd here tonight. Love your children, hold them close, realize what precious gifts they are. In a blink of an eye so much can change.........and please consider organ donation.
