May, 1946, I was 9 mos old...after my first ride on a commercial airplane, with my father when we made a trip down to Tenn to visit his family, after he came home from the war.

Me on the family cannon (?) Probably very close to my first birthday.

The "family cannon!" So funny. Every family has one, right?

I am the baby on the left, with my older sister. I was not yet one in this picture. My sister said I look like an egg in this picture because the dress is kind of oval and you can't see my legs. I can't really see that. I love the smocking on the dresses. It was done by hand.

You can kind of see my reflection in the glass. I took a picture of a framed photo. I swear we did not have blotchy skin on our arms -- that's my reflection!

A lot of beautiful babies on this forum! I recently scanned this pic of myself in to send to a cousin that I rarely see and we were emailing about our youth! Both of our mom's are gone now and so we were reminiscing.

I just find it amazing to look at baby pics and see zero resemblance to what I look like today. I don't think I looked like the grownup "me" at all until I was a teenager. And yet so many times when you see a baby, you see the resemblance to a family member immediately. Not sure how that works :)

JemDandy, summer of 1937 at 8 mo. old in front of our neighbor's house. Look at the rocking chair - that's got to be an antique or collectible.

jemdandy, I still have my childhood rocker. DS andd gs borth used it and it's in mint condition.
