Yahoo! email question

Brain hiccup ... for the life of me, I can't remember how to post a picture from my hard drive directly into an outgoing email, instead of adding it as an "attachment". I know I've done it before. Help?

I grab mine from tiny pic, then just paste it into the email.

Think I might close all my browsers and delete my cookies for yahoo with something like CCleaner. Then I might make sure I accept yahoo cookies, and go to www.yahoo.com and login. Use CCleaner to always save that cookie. Tell my browser to always accept their cookies. Then only have to login once every two weeks hopefully.

Mine come through just fine unless the go to a spam folder. Whenever I have a question I'll send it but send a copy and a bcc to different addresses, including the sending address to see. The issue could be the senders email, not your receiving email. I should add one caveat, anything from Hotmail is iffy. I've occasionally had mail take days to get through from a hotmail account but I sure can't blame Yahoo for that.

My yahoo email hasnt worked in almost 2 weeks. I log in, and it has to verify who I am, and then tells me, I need a new password, but, it wont accept any password I have tried. It says they are too weak. Well, believe me, I have tried passwords, that if I hadnt written them down first, I would never have remembered them long enough to type them, and they will accept nothing. I give them one more week, until after the Christmas Holidays, and I am going to go find another throw away email account.

Getting links to hilight in yahoo email body?

Fredda...Try putting the link into an email and sending it to yourself. I don't use Yahoo email but I know with the email program that I do use, the link doesn't change color until the email has been mailed and received by the party to whom it's directed. Perhaps it's the same case with Yahoo. Other than that...if you mean adding a link to a sentence using an HTML code...that's a tad different. I'm a little rusty in that department but I seem to remember that it involved this HTML code...<a href="add the http address you want to link to between quote marks" >then add the name of the link</a> Hope this helps. As far as I know, you can't put a pic in the email in yahoo mail, only attach it.

I think there was another option to pick besides the attach one, if you are talking about the one that put the picture itself in the body of the letter. When they changed the format or upgraded yahoo quite some time ago that seemed to have disappeared. I haven't sent pictures through yahoo for some time but remember using it too, because you didn't have to worry if the person receiving the email would be able to open an attatchment.

I've often wondered how people do that. I've never done it. It would be handy. Although sometimes the picture is huge!
