I'm sorry about your loss also. I felt so badly. I would have removed her if she seemed stressed but she seemed to be doing just fine. I knew I'd end up having babies one day but this is so special because, one it is my first and second because I lost mama. I'm just so full of smiles with my little fishies. On a side note, Summer (my senior dog) must like them too because she tried to take a swim with them tonight. Thank God she is okay but my knees are knocked up from the rocks and my rocks are a mess. Now I'm going to have to give her a good inspection and make sure none of them hurt her. I just noticed a bit ago that a pretty big one fell in the pond and I hope it didn't fall anywhere on her. Not a good night to start my work week on.

You're so lucky to have the turkey babies! Hopefully you'll get to see them grow up and then come back with their own babies next year. I usually get turkey babies here but this year has been a bust - only one and that one at a great distance. Maybe due to the unusually cold spring, or maybe predators. Last week I was in a shoe store with my three year old. He is going through a stage where he has to know everyone's name(cashiers, bank tellers, nieghbors etc.) While shopping he turned to a lady standing next to us and asked the ususal "what's your name?" She answered "Peggy". He smiled and replied "you're silly. What's your name?" She repeated her name again and he became serious and told her "No, you're not a piggy!" We both laughed. That same day we were in Wal Mart and my son saw a man approaching in one of those electric shopping chairs that look like a wheelchair. He moved over so he was right in the man's path and had to stop. My son said excitedly, "Wow, I like your bike!! Can you get off and let me ride a little bit?" Needless to say, I hope the two strangers were understanding because I sure got a kick out of it.

Hi! I'm still here - a week overdue now. I saw my doctor yesterday afternoon. I have to go for a non-stress test this morning, and after I have that done I have to call my doctor's office to schedule an induction (which will be either tomorrow or Friday). I'll post this afternoon when I know what time on which day. Thanks for asking! :)

Duh... I guess I'm slow today. Had to look at the pix twice to realize it's a baby piglet! Just adorable though. Must have been a motherless piggy.

I've seen these sweet pics before and never tire of them...beyond precious.

Would love to see how that little piglet has grown since the original pics were taken. And what a loving and tender "Mama". :)

I looked at adorable pic, blinked and wiped eyes looked again, wiped glasses with tissue, once more look at pic and wiped screen with duster. Hmmmm???? Yes it is a pot belly piglet with a large dog!

Oh my gosh, how sweet. Do you think she thinks, "This is one homely puppy but I love it anyway!"

I thought you were posting this because that huge dog had only one puppy, but then I saw the pup looked a little odd!
