Yes, it was their April Fool's Joke last year, the adverts for it were hysterical. When you clicked on it to see what it was, it was just too funny, you got your internet access through the toilet. FAQ's were hysterical!! It was all over the news.

There's no e-mail at the top anymore. But I noticed something this morning. I use Firefox, and the entire top line of options that was always there before is gone (File, Tools, Help, etc) Maybe that's the problem, part of the log off area has been cut off also. I tried the site using my cell phone, and that worked normally - I could log off with no problem.

mikecowley- I disagree with the view that it isn't in Apple's interests to be helpful. My interpretation is that Apple is making it difficult for a person who can't prove that they don't have a stolen phone to get that phone activated. I prefer that position because it provides a strong disincentive to thieves, and that is in the best interests of customers as it provides all iPhone owners a lowered risk of theft and robbery. The OP's situation is unfortunate, because I believe her that it is a legitimately owned phone, but if Apple started making exceptions for all plausible stories then the value of their policy would be next to nil.

I have been in contact with Houzz support since early summer when I am able to access GardenWeb using any browser but only able to see the first page of discussions. Houzz support said try using Google Chrome as my browser and clear my cache. My cache is always cleared when I log off my computer, but I tried as they said and even got a tech support friend to help me to make sure I'd cleared EVERYTHING. For one shining moment I could click on other pages of GW and open all the discussions, but only in Chrome. The next day, it was back to only the first page and no clearing of cache, quitting out of the browser, updating the browser, or rebooting my computer made any difference. I have the same problem in Safari, Firefox and Chrome, on my very fast office computer with high speed internet as well as my home computer through wifi. Don't even get me started on my phone - that's a no go as well. When I conveyed all this information to Houzz support in August they had nothing further to suggest and have not responded to any further contacts since then. I copied them the exact error message I get from every browser and every machine, and they had no input back to me in response. Bottom line is that Houzz is telling us all, either this is our fault (our browsers & history) or they're not willing or able to solve this. It's clearly something they did to screw up the programming of the system but they are unwilling or unable to fix it and nothing has improved in months of trying. I expect that more of these glitches will show up for folks and it's frustrating. I don't want to give up on all of you as friends and fellow rose nuts, so I'll keep logging in but I can't see anything past the first page of joint rose/antique rose listings. Ever. If you want my input on anything, you'll have to keep it active on the front page till I can see it. Obviously that's my loss, but it's Houzz's fault. Cynthia
