We did chicken breasts on the grill a couple of nights ago, marinated in Teriyaki sauce and it was absolutely wonderful. Flavor was great and it was sooooo moist and tender. I bet it would work well in the Foreman.

In our house za'atar mix and ground coriander-cumin mix are
staples for chicken dishes.

Well since I am rather adventurous and
love to "Play" with my food, I love to try different bottled marinades.. and if I find one I particularly like, then I will monkey around and try to duplicate it myself.. There are so many wonderful choices out there... so I say... Go shopping, pick out a couple that sound good to you and enjoy.

It's called Grill Mates. It comes in a stout, wide jar with a black cap.
You sprinkle or rub some on both sides and let it sit for about 15 min before cooking. It's YUMMY! They come in flavors for steak and chicken (I like the chicken one on pork chops too.)

I love to coat the chicken with olive oil and then chopped fresh herbs from the garden. Rosemary, sage, basil, lemon balm, oregano - whatever you have.

Zesty Italian Dressing is a great marinade for chicken.

One I used last night was a little Teriyaki sauce a little olive oil and a couple spoonfuls of marmalade stirred in. I marinated chix breats in for a couple hours, then put in a baking pan, pour marinade over and baked, turning the chix half way thru.

and thyme is wonderful with chicken too.....I use a lot of Old Bay seasoning...or emeril's ..Cumin with chicken and also curry powder......

I make my own mix using paprika, garlic powder, chili powder, dry mustard, cayenne pepper, cumin, curry, salt and papper.

I put on almost everything.

We have to watch the salt around here and never miss it when I use Mrs. Dash (original). Tastes great, too.

I too am a fan of teriyaki for chicken and beef. I use it in a marinade for either when grilling. Chicken can pretty much take any seasoning you want. Give it an Asian flair, a taste of Cajun, Southwest, Tex-Mex or sometimes just a little salt and go natural. Even cook them up and into some gravy over potatoes too. A little dash of BBQ sauce works well too.

My favorite seasoning is Tony Chachere's Creole seasoning (use it on everything) or Jane's Crazy mixed up salt, and Natures seasoning.
When I was making chicken it was the Montreal chicken by grillmates,

hands down lawrys seasoning salt...but we also buy dried onion flakes now (no salt)

I decided to give it a try after having an absolutely Heavenly porkchop-on-a-stick at the State Fair. That chop had perfect seasoning (to my taste) and it was tender and moist even though it was "almost" crisp on the outside. It was cooked over fire. The first time I tried it, I thought it was just like the Fair!

We like a mixture of soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce and steak sauce. Plus salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and garlic.

Love both the Montreal Steak seasoning and Montreal Chicken seasoning. Sometimes I just brush with a mixture of a little melted butter (or olive oil) mixed with a tsp of thyme, tarragon, and garlic powder.

Seems as if the Montreal Steak or Montreal Chicken seasoning will have to be my first try!!

Try a little olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Another idea is to make amarinade with lemon juice, dijon mustard, s & p, and olive oil.

Teriyaki Sauce

Lawry's Lemon Pepper marinade

Italian dressing (plop a slice of swiss cheese to melt while the meat is resting - Yum!)

Here's another good marinade:

* 1/2 cup soy sauce
* 1/2 cup cider vinegar
* 4 tablespoons honey
* 4 tablespoons vegetable oil
* 2 green onions, minced
* dash of red pepper flakes

Put everything in a ziplock baggie and marinate for a couple of hours before grilling

If you have a Penzey's spice store in your town, you might like their BBQ 3000 seasoning.

It contains, "salt, paprika, black pepper, nutmeg, mustard, allspice, citric acid, garlic powder, ginger, sage, thyme, white pepper, cinnamon, and natural smoke flavor."

The stores have sample jars of everything so you can smell before you buy.

I haven't read the replies but the seasoning I'm sold on is Paula Deen's House Seasoning.

I used it on baked chicken last week and it was excellent. It's only salt, pepper and garlic, but she has the right blends to it.

I can't find it at the store, so I'm going to have to order more online.

It goes on everything!

Another vote for Tony Chachere's...which is a seasoned salt. Has a little spice to it but not too hot. I also use it on everything.

I like the Mrs. Dash Tomato Basil Garlic seasoning blend. It doesn't have any black pepper in it and tastes really good on a lot of dishes. If I want black pepper too I can just add it.
