Good Morning everyone. What are you all up to today? I am drying my hair so I can go with Cheryl and Terri to see my Mother in the nursing home. We will probably also eat out at Jim Dandy. Amber is watching our dogs. We finally got some rain. It is 72 out this morning and partly cloudy. Hope all are having a great day no matter what you are doing.

Good morning all! I've already been to W-Mart and the store, going to be another hot, humid day. Plan to stay inside the rest of the day.

Paint: I would wait on selecting a color until you have your furniture and accessories chosen. The present color (in picture anyway) feels washed out and a creamy white would be more modern and crisp. - Built in‘s/tv location: with the width on both sides of fireplace being different, you’ll have to configure bookcases accordingly, if going that route. Suggest holding off on making a mantle change until you figure out wall - try to envision whole wall in your decisions Really like look below - Seating layout: really like your inspiration picture and as per the layout, centre to fireplace. I mowed - again - today, I had just mowed last Thursday but the grass was so high already. Normally I don't like a "sheared" lawn, but I set the deck too low on my mower and didn't realize it. Since it would look weird to do the rest on a higher setting I continued. Golf course like lawns make me uncomfortable! lol Besides all the little wild flowers got their heads chopped off. Maybe I won't have to mow for awhile now though it being so short. There are so many violets and other wild flowers in the orchard that I have a hard time mowing them, so I leave small patches here and there. The ground itself is still very damp. Sometimes when I sit on a chair at my small table down there, a chair leg or two will sink right into the soil sending me backwards. I've learned to be quick to jump off! I think I will plant ever bearing strawberries in my mailbox cover this year just for something different. They will have a white bloom and hopefully have berries most of the summer. At least that's what I envision, will see if it works out.

Good Morning, it is 67 and cloudy here in the Midwest. Mother nature seems to think this is Washington State, rains almost every day. No plans for today, except maybe to use the new hoe I bought yesterday. Can't get on my knees and pull weeds anymore, thought a hoe might work.

Cool and sunny here today, only 59Âº thus far, but pleasant. Our church circle will be serving birthday cake to residents of our nursing home this afternoon, and our Garden club will meet this evening with a tour of a member's fantastic gardens. So busy enough,I guess.

Good morning Sue! We got some rain early this morning. It's still cloudy. I think my body is trying to recover from this viral crap I've had for two weeks now. I slept good the night before last and then kept falling asleep yesterday afternoon while watching vidoes. Slept in late this morning too.

I'm supposed to go walking this evening with a friend, I haven't been walking in over a week now.

The kids had Monday off from school. They are taking off nearly every other Monday this year. I don't really understand what they're doing it for. The kids are happy about it anyway.

I'm doing laundry right now and making my breakfast. Hope you all have a good day! Going back to work tomorrow.

Good morning KT friends....Nothing exciting on my agenda.. gathered all the trash & garbage and will take that out when I go to do some grocery shopping. Then I'll stop by our local Dairy Queen and bring home lunch for DH & I. This aft. noon, I;ll work some on the sweater I'm knitting. Our weather here in No. Mn, is sooooooo nice. About 70, very low or no humidity. When ever I have something to say about the weather, I usually look up and say, Lord, I;m complaining, I'm just commenting. LOL Dottie

Good afternoon, everyone. Today I am living in a construction site! The fellow is here to repair the damage done to the downstairs bathroom by a leaky pipe. He's so far saved me a pile of $$ by saving the vanity, sink, and most of the gyprock walls so that they don't have to be replaced - he's been very, very careful with the demolition. He's also going to replace the old copper pipes with the plastic ones so he'll be working on that for the next week or so.

I'm also trying to catch up on some commitee paper work in between the calls to "come look at this".

I've got chicken marinating in the refrigerator - tandoori chicken for dinner. I just have to go to the grocery store to pickup some naan bread to go with it.

It's cool and rainy here so I don't mind doing the indoor stuff today.

Was out on a business appt this morning. Putting in some time until I have to take Bud to the vet at 3:45. I had originally scheduled Smudge yesterday. He's been sneezing and had watery eyes over the weekend. Now his sneezing seems to have almost diminished, and his eyes don't water, but Bud is now sneezing.
So I figure Bud will be the one with the active infection or whatever, so he should be the one to look at.

Making a Freecycle trade this afternoon as well. I have a bamboo steamer basket that I don't want, and someone has one of those wooden potato/onion bins that I DO want, so we're trading. I'm also taking her a bottle of homemade detergent concentrate to try. No idea what dinner will be yet.
