That seems to be the way of life for most Hollywood couples. Fame and fortune (with drugs and alcohol thrown into the mix) apparently don't buy happiness.
I just heard that Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are separating also.
I love Faith and Tim. They are just perfect for each other.
I have never been a fan of Catherine Zeta-Jones. She married an old man, even if he is a rich movie star. Now he is really old and sick, so of course she wants out. Too bad for the kids.
Wonder if it has anything to do with Michael Douglas telling the world a couple months ago that his throat cancer was caused by HPV? He said he was a sex addict before marrying his current wife, and let's see how would that get in his throat? Ugh, gag me. (oh, there's a pun that I honestly wasn't trying for.)
What a pig. And you tell the world???? Maybe she's pissed that he gave her something.
I'm not surprised to hear about Douglas and Zeta-Jones. I've never been a fan of either one. She has always come across as cold and he is in love with himself. I'm sure she wasn't too thrilled when he told the world what caused his cancer.
Glad Faith and Tim are ok, they seem very genuine.
I agree dedtired...it may seem ok when they aren't all that old but age has a way of just springing up on you. One day you feel fine and young and WHAM, the next (seems like) you are OLD!
Who knows what we can believe - least of all what we read. None-the-less, I read several articles that said it is Michael who is initiating the divorce and she is trying to save the marriage.
She's bipolar. I know people with bipolar disorder and they can be (notice I said can be) very difficult.
No, I'm not saying they can't express themselves. Only you would make that assumption. But when expressing oneself, you leave yourself open to interpretation - be it good or bad. Ask Miley Cyrus.
And Glenda, you're a fine one to point fingers. How many times have you chastized people who post something not to your personal liking on one of *your* posts. All you want to hear is agreement with your post.
And THAT makes me laugh every time you do it.

Just want to add that almost everyone who has ever been sexually active has, or has had, HPV at some point in their life (I think 80% last time I saw the figures). The only way to avoid it is to be abstinent or in a relationship where each person has only been with the other, which is pretty rare.
In most cases, the body clears it up, and most people aren't even aware they had it. It's only when the body can't get rid of it does it potentially cause problems like cancer. And it can often lay dormant for years and years before flaring up.
So admitting you have a disease caused by HPV does not mean you are a cheater or a dirty/unsafe person or sexual deviant, and it's sad that such a prevalent health issue has that stigma attached to it. You can be with one person in your entire life and still get HPV-related cancer.
I personally admire him for bringing awareness to an issue that most people are ignorant about.
Should I care about the (supposedly) personal lives of actors I do not know? It's Hollywood, folks. Anything for ink.
Just tell me where I can find a decent movie for intelligent adults. I want to see a believable story about characters who closely resemble real people. I don't want to see things blowing up, car chases, vampires, etc.
A "Transformers' movie is being shot in Chicago now -- for the arrested-development market. Oh! The (disembodied) carnage!
