We have our patio furniture for 20 years. It is still construction with nylon webbed seats. I cannot remember the name of the manufacturer, but it was expensive then, and probably would be now. I hose it down every spring after it stays covered for the winter. My mother has the same furniture in Florida, and never covers hers. After 30 years, my sister sat in a chair, which finally broke. Your best bet is to go to a patio furniture store and not buy from a website. You want to see what the material is made of. If you prefer cushions, you’ll need to take them to a protected area every time it rains.

Without pictures all I can say is that in general it's better to put art over a fireplace. But we don't know how high your ceilings are, what your mantel looks like, whether mirrors would reflect anything attractive, etc.

Elena, sorry no salt rubbing intended! Regardless of what AA may say about selecting their own varieties, I strongly suspect Tantau has the final say. I bet they exert a lot of pressure on suppliers to stock their newer roses, whether that’s by using financial incentives, making it a condition of the ‘exclusive’ deal or simply saying nope, you can’t have that one. Most breeders want to push sales of their new releases over the older, potentially less profitable ones. What the customer actually wants is irrelevant, it seems. Still, I wish you luck in your campaign. Hi Carol, that was just a very brief chilly interlude we had here, we are back to more familiar, seasonal temps now and rain.
