I was there about 30 years ago when I was living in Victoria. It is a beautiful spot, really well worth the visit. Go, enjoy and tell us all about it.

I've been there but it was quite a few years ago. It was beautiful and certainly I would recommend it. The colours are amazing and a visit is a must for gardeners.

I was there in 1997, and it was a beautiful spot to visit. Unfortunately, I was dragging along an uninterested 8 year old boy. But I can still picture some of the views that I saw that day, and I'm glad I went.

I just looked at the link. It looks beautiful Moni. I see they have a shop for seeds and such. I'd be sending something home for sure. Probably delphinium seeds. I'd love to have some of those. I wonder how they'd do here in Nebraska.

I've been 3 times, but not for about 10 years. What time of years are you planning on going? That's the important thing! Remember it can be miserable rain in the winter and early spring. Kathy

I was there in August, 1993. It was just beautiful. I would love to see it again.

I was there last October. It is a beautiful place. Very peaceful. The fall colors were all out and the colors were unreal. And I'm not a botanical garden type of person. But it was very pretty.

I would love to see it when everything is blooming. I'm sure it looks like a totally different place from what I saw.

I was there in May, my third visit. It's a "must see" for anyone who loves flowers. Beautifully landscaped, meticulously maintained. I hope you can go.

That said--I don't think the garden was at its best when I was there in May. (I would give it an A instead of an A+.)
It was like the spring bloom was over but summer wasn't going yet.

You'll need a minimum of a couple hours. If you like gift shops in places like this (probably not on a bicycle!), they have a really nice shop.

We went in the rain once, and they provide umbrellas for all guests.

My husband and I went in Sept. of 2007 and it was magnificent. We are planning another trip to Victoria and the gardens. It is a definite must see!!

Oh, Socks, the pictures are AWESOME! Thanks for posting them. I plan to go, yes, on my bicycle. Anything I buy will have to be hauled to the US, for shipping.

Leslie, I don't know about where you are, but Delphiniums don't do well here in Oklahoma. I tried, and gave up.

I will be there very late June, or around the first of July.

I live in Victoria and we get season's passes every year. Spring is my favorite time at the Gardens. During the summer, they have fireworks every Saturday night during July & August. These are not just your average fireworks either....well worth seeing. Even in this day and age, we take a blanket and picnic dinner and put it down in the fireworks viewing area, and then putter around throughout the gardens until evening. Never lost anything. Their high tea in the dining room is very nice too. It's definitely a "must see" when visiting Victoria. During Christmas season, they have scenes representing the 12 days of Christmas song that are hidden within the garden and it is fun to find them all and they add a skating rink. Very pretty then too.

I've been twice--once in April and once in November. It was spectacular in April and a real disappointment in November. They have a really nice gift shop and they sell seeds.

I live hop, skip and jump from it.

Have been many times but not for long time now.

My parents and I used to go at christmas and watch the carolers and it was so nice and all lit up the gardens.

I have been there on Saturday night long ago with a friend and her family and we watched the fireworks, awesome they were.

Its a nice place if you enjoy gardens. They have two areas to eat, one in the fancy expensive restaurant and one in the cafteria type restaurant. There is a gift shop that is fun to look around.
