More prayers for my 'baby' boy please!

He has developed DVT's in both legs and will have surgery tomorrow at 3PM to remove them.I don't know exactly what they do but I do know they go in behind the knee.I am really worried about him.They are also having trouble getting a line in.He was admitted at 5 this afternoon and at 10 PM they still hadn't been able to do that.

Prayers and good thoughts will be greatly appreciated!

I will surely keep him in my prayers, lilliepad. I know you're terribly worried but I'll bet he's in good hands. Will you keep us updated?

I'm so sorry to hear this. Your son sure is going through the wringer; and you, as his mother must be too! I hope to hear a positive update soon!!!

Blue/Chocolate bedding for sure! Would love that with something like the airplane wall decoration in pic #1 Look around at your other stores for accessories that maybe aren't just "airplaney" Bringing a "pig" piggy bank in with mostly the same colors but maybe one "new" color will all some eclectic look. Check etsy to some wall decals that may give you an idea of what to put on the wall or other things that you may want to incorporate. You can order those or paint something like them...My mother suggested we paint a tree on an empty wall in my baby girls room, so I went on Etsy, and have a tree, some birds, squirrels, nuts, etc. that my parents painted based off the decal. For something else on the walls, I would love to see some basic frames with shapes or letters in a boyish colored plaid inside them. Or maybe check Target for some wall decor "words" in boyish prints/plaids...above my babies crib is "Dream, Dance, LAugh" in girl prints. I put one in the middle on the top row and the other 2 on the bottom row. I thought it would be a lot of words, but love it. I also got one of those book shelves that hang on the wall from Target, but have seen them at PB or landofnod. Pick some books to display in their that coordinate with your colors but don't have airplanes...this will give you a picture that isn't out of place but helps with the overly matchy. A basket of baby blankets or burp blankets will add more pattern and texture to the room. Don't forget Hobby Lobby!

Thank you all and please keep them coming! She is still in the hospital, and they may keep her for the next four months, but the prayers are working!!!! They took her off the IV yesterday, pain is back to a 2 and she is HUNGRY! That's a good thing. The dr was worried that the baby hadn't grown in the past week, but she told the dr what do you expect when I haven't eaten hardly anything? In the local hospital, before they transfered her to where her high risk dr is, they were only letting her have broth and jello. I was so thankful late last night when I got the email with updated info. I knew all the prayers from all of you were helping. Again, thanks and please continue the prayers. Tami

My thoughts and prayers are with your family. At this point, only surgeons, anaesthetists and very experienced nurses should be allowed to even try to start a line on your son. I bet he feels like a pin cushion right about now.

Lilliepad, I hope things go perfect with the surgery and your son recovers quickly. I know what a worry it is for a mom when something is happing with your son. You're in my thoughts.

Surgery is set for 3PM but you know hospital time,could mean in half an hour or later this evening or even actually 3PM!
I just talked to DDIL and they did access the port that was left in after his chemo.They were suppose to remove that when they did the last surgery but left it "just in case".Thank the Lord for that! DDIL said he is drugged up right now but really scared about the surgery.I think my other son is going up to sit with him in a little bit which I think will help.I can't go right now because there's nobody to stay with the kids.
Granlan-He actually is my youngest and even though he is 33 he still is the baby.He was telling his sisters the other day ,"I'm the baby,gotta love me."LOL
Again,I can't thank all of you enough for the prayers.I know there is power in prayer and there are some powerful prayer warriors here!
I will keep all of you updated.
