Thank you for posting the article from the Union Leader. After reading the article from the newspaper last evening (The Cabinet)I was wondering what happened. It was a horrible accident. How helpless that person operating the snowblower must have felt at that moment. Extra prayers for them. My husband was in a crush trauma accident 6 years ago. Most people do not survive with the same injuries. We are thankful for each day. Remember to hug your loved ones and tell them each day how much they mean to you. Each day is more precious than we realize.

Thanks Susan, I will let you know. I already stocked up on sugar free gatoraid for my dh (he's diabetic) Have tons of soup frozen ready to go and plan on stocking up on popsicles and ice cream too. I am glad that we are doing both at the same time, It will be tough but better than having 3 weeks of recovery and can baby both of my boys at the same time:) They didn't say anything about taking out either DH or Hudsons Tonsils or adnoids, but with talking to the Dr. I suggested while we were doing the surgery, we might as well do it right. DH has had trouble with his tonsils all our married life an we had talked about it for years for him to have them out. I know it will be tougher on him, but to get a good nights sleep is important. As it is, he can "sleep" 8 hours a night and still fall asleep at the drop of a hat because the sleep isn't restful sleep. Stacie

Surgery is set for 3PM but you know hospital time,could mean in half an hour or later this evening or even actually 3PM! I just talked to DDIL and they did access the port that was left in after his chemo.They were suppose to remove that when they did the last surgery but left it "just in case".Thank the Lord for that! DDIL said he is drugged up right now but really scared about the surgery.I think my other son is going up to sit with him in a little bit which I think will help.I can't go right now because there's nobody to stay with the kids. Granlan-He actually is my youngest and even though he is 33 he still is the baby.He was telling his sisters the other day ,"I'm the baby,gotta love me."LOL Again,I can't thank all of you enough for the prayers.I know there is power in prayer and there are some powerful prayer warriors here! I will keep all of you updated.
