Since it barely rained here, I got the compost worked into three beds and would have done more but then our little smidgen of rain starting falling, and I have three more beds about half done. The wind was ferocious late in the day, so by tomorrow you won't even be able to tell a smidgen of rain fell here. Tomorrow I'll be planting potatoes, and if the onions come, I'll plant them too since their bed is ready and awaits their arrival. Otherwise, I'll plant them whenever they arrive. If the 10-day forecast doesn't show any low temperatures in the 20s, I'll likely plant peas tomorrow or Saturday and maybe radish, carrot and lettuce seed. (I already have lettuce growing in containers.) I think rain is in the forecast again for Sunday and, if it rains, I may go garden shopping, but if it doesn't rain, I'll likely work in the garden again. At this time of year, you have to work on the good days, especially if the soil isn't too muddy to work. If the nice weather holds next week, we might manage to finish the greenhouse. It is great that rain fell in time for eveyone who needed some moisture in the ground for planting time. We had some rain/freezing rain/sleet fall before turning to snow in each of the 3 recent snowstorms, so we weren't hurting for moisture here. In fact, we still had good soil moisture, so I'm kind of glad not too much rain fell here today because the lower part of the garden then would have been too wet. The February weather sure is ending the month differently than it started! Dawn....from warm, windy and sunny southern OK where the fruit trees are blooming, migratory birds are moving thru headed north, and we have had butterflies, bees, moths, yellow jackets, ladybugs and spiders out every day for about a week or so

Your diagnostic system is trying to tell you that you have a misbehaving sensor. If is proven to truly be bad, what not replace it? When an oxygen sensor registers outside of the expected range, the system ignores it and sets a trouble code. Most systems substitutes a default value for the missing sensor and that value may not be correct for all conditions, but its good enough to keep the engine runnning and gets you home. You are probably running a little rich with the default code. You may have a heated sensor (electrically heated). The O2 sensors have to be very hot to work. If yours have 4 leads going to the sensor, it has a heater. Most sensors are not difficult to change provided you have the proper socket, one that accomodates the leads on the end of the sensor. O2 sensors are made in more than one size of hex nut. Be sure that you get the one that fits your model.

Remember some of these things, others may be a little ahead of me. Spent most of our time outdoors playing with friends - playing house, Barbies, teacher and secretary. And yes, all the freedom was great - all I had to worry about was being home before dark. We would ride our bike's to our local Stop n Go store for candy or icies. My favorite candies were 7 Up candy with the seven different flavors or the Rocky Road chocolate bar. We would also ride to various parks to play, most of the children's play area were styled after rockets or airplanes. Although we lived in So Cal most of our friends did not have a pool, so we either swam at the local high school pool. Two sessions every weekday afternoon. Usually a big group of kid's we knew, always a good time. One in a while we would go to the "plunge" next city over and sometimes we would go to a local "swim club" where our cousins were members. Either way we were in the pool almost every day in the summer. Loved going to the department store "tea rooms" for lunch or an occasional fashion show. Like others I have fabulous memories of visiting our department stores at Christmas time. It was always such a wonderland, loved shopping for my Christmas dress and patent shoes. My grandma usually bought me a new winter coat too. Thank you all for reminding me of all the great times.

Have been saying prayers for them too- along with plenty for all the other folks on the Gulf coast. No telling which area may be hardest hit. While N. O. was horribly affected by Katrina, the Mississippi folks are still suffering from it as well. We've seen the power of KT prayers over 'n over here, so what cha' say we all lift bundles of 'em high?
