Say a little prayer for the New Orleans' folks

My neighbor is fixing to leave at midnight to go to NO to help bring back some old folks from a nursing home to Tyler to get them out of harm's way. My neighbor is a doctor. What a wonderful thing to do.

Have been saying prayers for them too- along with plenty for all the other folks on the Gulf coast. No telling which area may be hardest hit. While N. O. was horribly affected by Katrina, the Mississippi folks are still suffering from it as well.

We've seen the power of KT prayers over 'n over here, so what cha' say we all lift bundles of 'em high?

I'll be thinking good thoughts her way. Sarah the Sheltie had to see the vet for a fractured tooth last week and ended up having some pretty major dental work done before it was all over. Very expensive, but she's OK and feeling fine. Wishing Penny as very speedy recovery also!

I was amazed that we got zero rain too. I work at Kool 95.7 and helped out on WWL 870am from Tuesday - Thursday (slept here at the station). I got home late Thursday and by the time I got to looking after the potted plants I discovered my figs all shriveled up! Amazing with a monster of a hurricane not more than 70 miles off the mouth of the river and I had plants dry up from lack of rain! And yes we should all count our blessing. I have friends in Fl. who are still in hotels waiting to be allowed back "home". Its the not knowing what they will return to that is the worst. Mike

I've been praying for Bradley, his family and his medical team ... his whole situation is so very sad. This poor little guy has just been through hell and he's never really gotten the chance to just be a little boy! His family seems to have a strong faith, this is so necessary to copy with the unfairness of life.
