I'm not a coffee drinker but DH is and he double brews (twice as much coffee per pot) his coffee when he makes iced coffee. That way it doesn't dilute when the ice melts. I don't think you want to store it too long. I understand it gets bitter.
You could make coffee cubes though instead of double brewing.

I've been making it and I use about 3 cups of coffee, half a can to 3/4 can of sweetened condensed milk and lots of ice cubes. it makes a full blender and three of us can drink pretty good sized cup fulls.

This sounds intriguing, how do I find this recipe? I tried typing iced coffee into the search box but it lists things like coffee grounds in the compost pile!

I'm the only one who drinks frozen coffee also. What I did was made a pot. Then I froze them in a ice try. I use about 3-4 cubes with milk or vanilla ice cream, then blend in blender.
I have been looking for recipes but haven't come across a great one yet. My suggestion is to make 1 cup of coffee however you make it add ice cubes, vanilla ice cream and thats it.
Here are some recipes I have found:

Cappuccino Smoothie Recipe
2 cups brewed double strength coffee
1 pint coffee ice cream
6 cups ice
1 1/2 cups milk
whipped cream, if desired
cinnamon for garnish

Place coffee, ice cream, ice and milk in blender. Mix well until smooth. Top with whipped cream (if desired) and cinnamon.

STARBUCK'S FROZEN FRAPPUCCINO
The Frappuccino is blended with strong coffee, sugar, a dairy base, and ice.
Make double-strength coffee by measuring 2 tablespoons of ground coffee
per cup (serving) in your coffee maker. The copy will be even more authentic
if you use Starbucks beans and grind them yourself just before brewing.

Coffee
3/4 cup double-strength coffee, cold
1 cup low-fat milk
3 tablespoons granulated sugar
2 cups ice

1. Make double-strength coffee by brewing with twice the coffee required by
your coffee maker. That should be 2 tablespoons of ground coffee per each cup
of coffee. Chill before using.

2. To make the drink, combine all ingredients in a blender and blend on high
speed until ice is crushed and drink is smooth. Pour into two 16-ounce glasses, and
serve with a straw.
Makes 2 large drinks.

Caramel
For this, add 3 tablespoons of caramel topping to the original recipe above and
prepare as described. Top each glass with whipped cream and drizzle additional
caramel over the whipped cream.

Mocha
For this version, add 3 tablespoons Hershey's chocolate syrup to the original
recipe and prepare as described. Top each glass with whipped cream if desired

FROZEN MOCHA
(makes 1 serving; about the amount of 1 coffee cup)

Ingredients:
-1 cup ice cubes *I use 5 and it works great
-1/2 cup vanilla frozen yogurt, or ice cream
-1/2 cup milk
-1 envelope of any brand hot cocoa mix *I use Nestle
-1/2 teaspoon Instant coffee granules *I use General Foods
International French Vanilla
-Fat Free whipped topping (optional)

Directions:
Place ice, frozen yogurt(or ice cream), milk, cocoa mix, and coffee
granules in blender; cover. Blend until smooth. Top with whipped topping.
Serve Immediately.

Sheilajoyce, I make it as Terri posted. 8-10 cups and the sweetened cond milk makes about 2 qt pitcher full. I know I have it in my fridge 5 or 6 days with no problem. Just stir it up before pouring another glass.

Thanks, nodakgal. It was that recipe and the one that uses pudding that I was talking about. (won't use the cool whip)

I have a small coffee pot that makes 4 cups. I make a pot when I first get up, drink one or two cups hot, then use the rest for iced coffee. All I need is ice, half and half and sugar. Four cups is just enough for me.

I JUST got through drinking a glass of iced coffee and used the "fake" sweetened condensed milk recipe using powdered milk that I posted. It tasted delicious although I need to blend in the milk better as I had bits floating around. It was the first time I ever drank iced coffee. I made just half a recipe. I had coffee left in the pot from my morning coffee and I had made it quite strong, so decided to try the recipe.

I can't keep a pitcher of that for more than a day..the boys find it and it's gone!!!!!
They do the same thing with their Dad's sweet tea I make him too..Monsters!

I have been making my own also, cup by cup by freezing strong coffee as ice cubes and blending it with soy milk (vanilla and chocolate are both great, plain is good as well if you want to add your own sweetener). If you use lowfat or fat free soymilk, even better.

I have also used regular skim milk as well with a bit of honey to sweeten, and it is very very good.
