House sparrows and bluebirds are mortal enemies; sparrows will build their nests right on top of the bluebird nestlings and kill them in this way. Watch for Dad bluebird trying to defend the nest. There should not be 2 nests in one box! Read an article on this; will try to find the link and post for you.

Jilli Bean is home! They got home around 2 this afternoon.I can't believe how tiny and absolutely perfect she is.She is a good baby too,or at least has been up to this point.Of course that could change any minute!LOL We are going to Lubbock tomorrow to see Rowdy.He is off everything and they are feeding him now through a feeding tube.They have moved him out of the NICU into the "growers" room.We are taking our 5th wheel up for the kids to stay in so Mom can be there with the milk supply.There is a place on the grounds where we can park the trailer with electricity and water furnished for $10.00 a day.DDIL called and asked if they have to pay up front or would they add it to their bill and they said,"Just write us a check when you leave!" This is a Godsend because the kids are broke and so are we and we didn't know how we were going to manage the two or three 200 mile round trips a week with the price of gasoline.This whole thing has had some "Divine" intervention though so I'm not really surprised! Finding out that the doctor taking care of Rowdy was one that DDIL knew well and worked with and trusted,plus the NICU nurse being her good friend.Just too much going on to be a coincidence. We found out a couple of days ago to that there has been an outbreak of the chicken pox in the hospital/neonatal unit where they would have been in Albuquerque had they stayed there to have the babies.She also has a job not far from Lubbock if she wants it when she is able to go back to work while Rowdy is getting well.This will help them get back on their feet so they can get back home! We will take some pictures tomorrow and I'll post them as soon as I can. Thanks again everyone for all the prayers.Just keep them coming because Rowdy still has a ways to go but I know he is going to be fine with a little time.Sorry this was so long.I got carried away.LOL
