Can I brag on Tanner again? LOL

He is on his way to Alanta Georgia.....for a Mission Trip through the Church.....their is a Older Gentleman that his house is being condemmed...and unless it gets fixed.....the Church usually goes out of the country but did not this year....Anyways.....they choose 13 people to go and Tanner was one...they should arrive sometime tomorrow and I hope it turns out great....

He is such a caring young man I am just soooo proud of him....Stacy

You should be proud of him. I think it's wonderful when young people get involved in programs like this. My GD went on several mission trips here in the US, involving helping the elderly get their housing back in shape and she loved doing it.

Fear not! I have one of these on my desk at work and it was one of my first indoor plants too. Yours, though, is SOOO much more colorful! So pretty! Mine lives underneath a standard office fluorescent light. I've only repotted it once. It's just happy & perky. I put it in one of those self-watering flowerpots, but the little guy prefers to be a little dry. I found a small aqua globe-type thing at the dollar store (yay!), and other than some Osmocote & occasionally pouring in my leftover coffee, that's it. Don't make faces - my purple waffle LOVES coffee! Good luck with your beautiful plant!

Hello all....another quick question.... Im in zone 5 and its almost july, ive read this rose of sharon should be planted in the fall...so should i keep them in their pots until then and just keep them watered or what could happen if i put them in the ground now and kept them watered really good?? I bought a couple for the person that lives next door to me and was going to plant all of them this weekend. No where where ive read online says what would happen if i plant in july?? Thank

I was slap happy when they told me they still had some in stock. I ordered the white and pink combos, pillow talk and cloud something. Plus Kitty Kat and a couple of the pinky apricoty blends plus a pink lily one. I love the brighter colors too but stuck with the pale and medium shades this time around. Can't wait!!!

Thanks guys I am so proud...he sure seems focused in life...on doing good things for people he also goes on Wed. nights before Church and helps elderly ladies and widows in our community......:) Stacy

That's great Stacy. He sounds like 2 of my grandsons. The others aren't old enough to do anything like that. But my oldest DGS went to Mexico with his church, and they built little casitas down there. He really enjoyed it, and I'll bet Tanner does too.
