Another Facebook Question..LOL

This one is about adding Friends.

Hope this isn't too complicated. I'm wanting to add a lady/neighbor to my "Friends" on Facebook..but there are 2 of my friends that I don't want to SEE that I've added her (her request). Is it possible to add her and it not show up to these other 2 friends? Is it possible to prevent these 2 friends from seeing certain things, withot completely deleting them? I have reasons for not wanting to completely deleting them, but would prefer they only see what I want them to see! Make sense? lol

If this is possible, please type slow...FB still confuses me!

I don't know for sure, but I don't think it is possible to be that selective with what the people you friend see.

I don't believe this is possible but I'm no expert in facebook. Maybe you should just not add her as a friend and instead just email and text message.

Why have you tolerated this apparently-repeated behavior? You're not looking real good yourself right now as a woman, wife, or mother. And you have been for a while. Get over it. Things are as they are. Wishing they were different hasn't accomplished anything and never will. No sense wallowing in this hopelessness. It's a very real problem requiring a very rational decision. Your emotion and self-pity are obstructions to the actions required. Put them on the shelf, gird you loins, and do what needs to be done. In addition to getting free of this jerk, it appears to me you've got some work to do on yourself.

Do what I did, register under a fake name but tell your friends and family who you are and make a fake birthday etc. I used my real first name so they'd know it's me and, even then, my daughter (who knew I was going to do this) asks me if I know Sheila ______ who is asking to be her friend. hahahaha when I reminded her she roared. I get no requests now. The upshot of doing this was I got 23 happy birthday posts on April 1st which is not my birthday. I thought they'd catch my joke with that date. NOT.

Try hitting refresh or going out and coming back into facebook. Did you friend by chance just post the answer to her wall and not on your original post? Or, you may have accidentally hid her and her responses or comments? Do you know how to check that? Check what her status is with you to the right of her name when you pull up her name. It think it's may be under the subscribed section???

Try refreshing the page and clicking on the link again. Mine browser does that when I open another tab and try to open a new page before the tab is completely open. don't save. Just refresh and try again.

You can hide her posts from your other friends, but I am not sure if you can hide the fact you friended her.

If you set your FB to not show Friends, then they won't see her. Nor will it show when you friend her. They will however see when you correspond with her if you reply to your new friend's post. But that won't necessarily show that you're friends because your new friend could have her posts wide open for anyone to respond.

If you don't want them to see what you post in general, create a group and put them in there and then use the exceptions option on that group.

Thanks Zeetera! The new friends FB is private unless you're a friend. Not sure about her other settings. All my friends are hidden (I think you're the one that told me how to do that!) Even so, I figure when I add a friend, it shows up and says "Blahblah is now friends with new friends name"...right?

How do I set up a Group? Sounds like a good option!

all your friend has to do is block the ppl that she doesnt want seeing her there...that is all you have to do as well

good for u bump..its pretty easy really...stick to going into your privacy section,far right side of the page you are on at any time,whenever you have any queries....

Also there's a View As option where you can type in your friend's name and see how they view your profile and wall.
