Now I have to click THREE times.

I'm writing this from work, where things have gone from bad to worse with KT access. Instead of having to click twice on the Back button, I now have to click three times. And my computer never seems to stop loading the page. The icon spins on and on and on.....

Anyone else having this experience?

I'm having to double click on some thread to open them now. Still double clicking to get back and also to leave the site.

ARGHGHGH- it's just so annoying!

I still have to double click whenever I hit the back arrow. Some people thought it was a combination of the GardenWeb and the last update from Firefox. I don't have a clue. I just hate it.

you cannot ever select plants from other people comments as everyone has different tastes with maples . someone might yeso nishiki but this variety may be someones least favourite . size is not an issue here. if you like it and have space dont worry about size. its nice to know of what people go for as their top three . Anyway beside that there has been a similar thread here asking what the famous 5 maples is. i have narrowed down to three . So dont be afraid to name your top three .

Dear Patty, I can imagine that this is so upsetting....I think, like LU says, it is best to discuss all her reports with the nurse manager on the unit. She may be misinterpreting something that is done, but nonetheless, it is frightening to HER. It is their job to try to minimize that kind of thing. I think it is normal for you to be grieving now. You have lost a big part of your lifestyle. My Mom was at home her entire illness, and I was like you....crying often because life was so strange and I missed our "normal life". Even if I took her to a movie or to shop, it was so sad because it was so different and she couldn't really enjoy it like she should have been able to, and I missed that fellowship. So, I think you are on target here, and it would be odd if you did not grieve for that. Splitting time with the nursing home is exhausting, and exhaustion makes you more prone to saddness and depression. My sister often told me that, and I think it was true. But when you are the sole caregiver, exhaustion is an everyday thing, and there is no way around it. Try to work in some time for yourself..things you find relaxing. Visit her as much as you feel you want to. But if you miss a visit, be reassured that she MAY not miss it. And that is to your benefit. Of course you can always revisit the idea of bringing her home...IF you can get the help you need. It is not an impossible undertaking, and perhaps you would have more peace of mind. Otherwise, the "move up" buyers will act on convenience. We're hoping that if we relist in early spring we can be at the head of the spring buying surge, if that happens. Might be easier to get noticed when/if there's less stock on the market, and people are starting to plan their summer moves.

We are living in Costa Rica and have inherited a whirlpool washer model number 7EWTW1300YM0 that has many issues. The current one is serious. After adding an item mid filling cycle and shutting the lid the washer would not restart and ever since (when plugged and replugged) will click lock, click unlock, click lock, click unlock with the red lid locked light flashing. Eventually it stops but the machine is paralyzed with nothing but the red lid lock light on. I think the most pertinent information is I have run the diagnostic tests and with the Auto test everything is working fine. The error codes seem to change every time I fiddle with it but the original two were F5E1 and F5E3 both lid switch and locking and unlocking errors. When I go to the manual testing, the locking mechanism works fine lock, unlock no problem. When going to page 18 in the manual for Test #8 Lid Lock J15 appears to be in working order though it seems that the only issue can be a malfunction of the control panel (and J15) as the locking mechanism works (when checked manually). So after we unplug and re plug the machine.....click lock, click unlock, click lock and click unlock and nothing. Being in rural Costa Rica it is not easy to find parts so if that was the path that I must take I really want to be sure that it is the right part! Please help if you can as I have read so many similar posts but none seem to be able to help solve our problem.

When I'm using firefox, I have to double click. lol, sometimes I'm looking at my screen , just looking. Same page no movement. OH, yea, better click it again.

On IE, only one click. I haven't a clue why Firefox has changed things.

Click like you normally do but hold it a few seconds. That works for me. There is a thread about needing to double click in help forum that offers a couple of solutions.

I got so frustrated with it that I just use Internet Explorer for KT, and Firefox for everything else. I hope they get the problem resolved quickly.

I do too but mostly its twice for me!
Firefox here too.
About the time it gets straightened out I will be used to clicking more than once to get out of a post! I only have to click once to get them to open thank goodness.

I cant 'splain what happened or why, but it is only with Firefox, and although some say it was caused by the latest update, I had the problem and had not updated; still using 3.0.10. There is a solution if you will take the time to read the info at CompHelp and use whatever part of it pertains to your situation. I fixed it so I only have to click once.

I don't use IE except in the rare case there is a site that doesn't recognize FF.

I just installed the FF Add-On "No Script" and no more double-clicking, or triple-clicking in Susan's case.
One click is all I need.

I've only updated Firefox when they send me an alert. How do I install the FF add-on "No Script"- and can you still access Flickr? One of the posters on the computer forum added No Script and lost her FLickr access. Another poster gave her instructions on how to view Flickr again but I've been afraid to install the add on for fear I'll lose Flickr.

I don't know anything about Flickr, sorry. But I installed the add-on by going to Tools, Add-ons and search No Script.
You can always uninstall it, if you can't access your Flickr.

It is only FF that has this problem with the back button. I use Chrome most often, and it goes back with 1 click.

For some reason if I am at the office I can't stay logged in unless I come in thru That Home Site. My IT guys tell me it is a security issue of some sort....but they tell me that anytime they don't have a real answer!

This is interesting...I've been blaming it on my grands thinking they had done something to the "puter"....
My son just told me, instead of clicking on the big back arrow, so to that little black one between the back and forward....Pull it down and you can go back to any of the screens you had been to....Hope this makes sense.....

I have quite a few computer nerds in the family but most of the time, I can't understand what they tell me.....

It does make sense, but it would be a nuisance to have to do that every time, too.

For now, I'm using the Backspace key. Somehow it's easier to hit that twice (or three times) than using the mouse and clicking.

Well, I'm back to having to click twice. Dang. It wouldn't be so bad if I didn't forget *every *single* *time* I read a post that I need to click twice. My short term memory sucks. My short term memory sucks. My short term memory sucks. Ooops. LOL

On ANY site I go to, I never use the Backspace Arrow, I always use Alt and the Left arrow. However, even with GW, I have to do this twice.

Susan, which browser are you using?

Irishdancer, you can also right click and see a list; click on Back and that works.

If you are using Firefox and have gotten the NoScript add on, you should see a tiny icon at the lower right hand corner of the screen. Mine is a small red square with an x. To the left of that is a small message box that says options. Go to Fliker, click on Options and you will see a list of options. Choose the one you prefer. I use it for You Tube and Fliker.

We're still working on the issue. It looks like they may have isolated the back button problem (it hasn't been pushed live yet), but still can't nail down the incredible shrinking font. I've been using the most updated version of FF for the last few days and still haven't run across it. If anyone else is still having that problem, please send me a screenshot of the small font.
