Wonderful story. I've been following Zach and the Hornets BB team since this happened. It really is the feel good story of the year here. The school in Glyndon where he collapsed had an AED and that, along with the immediate CPR helped to save Zach's life. Every school needs to have an AED!

Linda - glad you liked the Cherokee Purple. And too bad you don't live closer. I picked another 36 today. They are going to a friend's house for a party she is having tomorrow nite. I've never had any luck with heirloom tomatoes; they just do not perform well for me. Cherokee Purple is beyond prolific. I have 3 plants that are loaded with tomatoes and bending my heavy duty cages to the ground. You said you think the tomato I gave you is huge????? That was about a 6 on a scale of 10. My largest so far has been 3lbs. 9oz. Being that you are so fond of Annie's Salsa you probably won't want to use the dry seasoning I gave you for more salsa. It goes well in sour cream, and works well as a fajita marinade. I have also sprinkled a little into corn chowder as well as cheddar corn bread. You can tell by looking at the bag that there are no binding ingredients so the mix seperates. Mix it up well before using.

Well, we had a wonderful visit. Nita is just as everyone describes--and she really does give great hugs. Carol is cute as can be and so comfortable to be around. I really enjoyed their visit and so did Harry. For lunch we had ham salad, tarragon chicken salad and egg salad sandwiches, a pasta salad, tomato-feta salad and for dessert raspberry trifle. I can't believe we talked for over four hours--the time just flew by. The weather was cold and rainy but it was sunny and warm in my house today!

I wanted to bring this to the top again in case someone hadn't seen it. Judy said that people 2 and 3 hours away wouldn't come. Come on folks lets prove her wrong. I know that there are several who are coming from great distance but she was talking about the folks in MN that have never been to a get together. Folks these are really fun and you will be sorry if you miss out. Looking forward to meeting new people and getting to hug friends that I haven't seen in a long time.
