Whew! Wished I had your energy

Okay, heres a side dish or appetizer 3- large tomatos 2- ripe avacados 4- sprigs fresh basil 4- sprigs fresh mint I package fresh mozzerella, it comes in a ball shape or you could use shredded I guess. olive oil and vinegar or any italian dressing garlic powder I cut the tomato into slices and arrange on a plate. cut mozzeralla thinly and lay over tomato add a piece of avacado and cut up herbs drizzle dressing or olive oil mix with diced herbs and a few pinches of garlic salt over the top and chill before serving. It's yummy! It's also great wrapped in a piece of romaine lettuce as a summer sandwich for the dieter. sorry about not having exact amounts, I don't measure anything

I hadn't ran across that first one, but I absolutely drooled the first time I saw the painted cupcakes, ice cream cones, and teapots/teacups the 2nd lady does. She really has a nice touch for making them look extra special. I love painting the roses and that shabby chic look, but only a little of it fits in my decor at home. I do want to follow her lead and try my hand at painting some of the food items for gifts. Wouldn't they be darling on a kitchen tree of some kind? You are right, this type of painting does seem to still have a following, and some of the Prim style items do also. Thanks for sharing those links. I thought it should be great. I'm such an overly sweet person anyway that I need the extra tartness. :) I like a lemonade that draws your jaw up and makes you pucker! Keep the mistletoe handy! Maybe try it sometime with some pureed watermelon or cantaloupe in there. Definitely would sweeten it up. Some strawberries thrown in and you have a good start to a fruit punch version.
