boymom, don't know if you visit this forum any longer, but if you do.... our vanity will be similar to yours in stlye and i am currently debating whether to do a single long mirrow, or 2 separate framed(with cabinet molding ~ 24x 42) with a double sconce on the wall in between.(ours is also under a soffit which we'll put recessed lights into) do you find you like the lighting of the sconces off the mirror? does the reflection bother you at all???

I really really miss not having a pool at this house, I love to swim and just hang out in the water. However not having to go out and buy new bathing suits for the summer is wonderful. I would go pick out a selection buy them take them home and with the help of my husband try them on. The real task was usually trying to get out of them! No way was I going to attempt those kinds of gymnastics in a tiny dressing room with no assistance. Even in the comfort of my very cool bedroom with fans blasting me I ended up looking like I had been in a pot of boiling water. Dripping wet and blazing red faced. Not about to do that in a public facility. I would be afraid they would call 911 thinking surely I was having a stroke. I keep my 2 newest suits in the RV in case I decided to go swimming. I haven't put one on in a couple of years. Men really have it so easy.

I was a teenager when the high cut legs came into style. The church youth leaders wouldn't let us wear them at group functions (understandably!). We played HAVIC trying to find soemthing that didn't have the high cut and were in small sizes. Now I don't even bother looking at the suits- heck, until this year I didn't even own shorts- my legs are glow-in-the-dark white!

I believe you can order laundry antichlor on Amazon..but if you go to your local pet/fish store they sell it in with the aquarium supplies. Its in a yellow bottle and the front says its to neutralize chlorine in tap water..you add so many drops per gallon of water and it takes maybe 60 seconds. I used to use it when I hand washed a black silk blouse of mine that I did not want fading..silk seems to fade easily. There's really no way to prevent the chlorine in public water from causing fading, (I know you didn't want antichlor for public water, but for your washing lol) Just the time your in the water would be all it takes to fade. Was that water nice and steamy and were you sipping a hot buttered rum LOL.
