What do you think of this bathing suit?

Okay I won the bet with my sister and she has to buy me the bathing suit of my choice.....I like this one but don't want it to make me look to young or too old......I like it either in the coral or black...Stacy

I think it is very attractive but this body would look awful in it!!! Love the coral! What is your coloring, Stacy?

I'm not too fond of it, but I wasn't too fond of any of the one pieces. A few cute tanktinis and two pieces.

Does it have to be from there?

Ornithogalums??? Oh vetivert, you are bad, but Ornithogalum is the first thing that comes to mind when I think of spring chores and getting to work outside, usually in late Feb. Now I realize my question could have and should have been phrased a lot better. How about this? If the Bulb Forum members would submit their (own) pics of plants and blooms grown from bulbs for a new forum picture, what should it be? . Should it be open to anything grown from bulbs? Should it maybe exclude such things that have more 'specific' forums of their own, such as Lily, Tropical, and House Plant? Should it be an individual bloom, or as you suggested, maybe a still life flower arrangement of numerous delectable blooms grown from bulbs? Please 'scuse me for just having tunnel vision and tunnel thoughts of just Daffodils. At any rate, the folks who are having their spring now, can hopefully be trying to get some great pics. Ok...so when does anyone think we could/should start taking picture submissions? Should we wait until late 2010 so glads could be included by those in the US who grow them? Should we wait a full year (or nearly) so the members down under have an opportunity to have another summer blooming season, like for glads? hmmm...what is fairest? I guess before proceeding, I should check with the 'Powers that be' to see for sure if they would be willing to get the pic changed and updated with a pretty pic of our choosing. I hope lots of folks will give their input and in time, post their pics for entry. In doing a search here on the forum, it seems that Tulips and Daffs are the 2 things most often posted about. I imagine though that tulips are most frequently asked about, due to them having problems, or emerging early, or for not blooming a second season when they are thought to be perennials like daffodils. reno fan: I LOVED your idea of two colour coded towels per family member so much that I just went to Target and bought eight of their 5ft striped beach towels in four different colours (on sale $4 each). It is a great way to teach the kids (and DH) to be responsible for their own towel! padrefan: your photo is priceless!! tinamccullagh: I here you. I'm from Canada and my mom always hung all our laundry out dry (even when it was minus 25C). I'm not sure why North Americans have gotten away from that in recent years...I guess because it is just too easy to throw the wet laundry into the dryer. I too plan to buy one of those revolving clothes lines to tuck away out of site.

Robo - I agree the room seems very big to me. One wall is also floor to ceiling glass or red rock, so it limits how much can be done with the room anyway. Do you think 36" will be a better width? Or even wider? The wider it gets, the narrower the closet and counter get, but I think you are right. That bothered me too. Lori, yes arcadia is another word for patio door. I hope I am not making that up? I thought that was the word my grandparents used, who lived in AZ. but were from MN. I think you are right about the powder coated glass. Well, never mind on the white glass. The landscape architect seemed horrified when I suggested moving the plants. I think I will just do a nice long 2 ft. window up high or a large powder coated window. I guess it will depend on the price. Annie, those are really good points. I agree the ma bedroom is in a wierd location. I think the that side of the house was the parents' wing and the other side was the kids wing. There was a sliding door, "A", that separated it (gone when I bought the house). The ma door was originally off the dining room where "B" is (moved before I came along). Ignore the kitchen because the butler's pantry/scullery is proposed. Given that there is another large living room area, do you think that makes the ma br door location any better? I dont know how I could do a vestibule in the ma br. I have thought about combining two back bedrooms to make one ma bedroom, but I dont think there is enough space. Then I thought of building a master addition off the casual room (C). I have three sets of plans from three different architects for this. The addition would have views of the mtn out one side and the city out the other side, be in front of the pool and hot tub, and should be quieter than the current ma br. If I did the addition, then I would do a quick cheap fix for the current ma bath and put the money towards the addition instead. But I just cant validate it. The house is 3900 sq. ft as is and I just dont need the extra square footage.

I like it.Not too revealing.Can't tell much about the "pantie" part.That would be the only negative,if it is too skimpy.I like it in the coral too but think black is always good.Also,if one tends to be a little "hippy" (not saying you are) that little ruffle might draw attention to that. It is a cute suit though.

I'm sure missing my size 5 and 6's.

I'd love it in black tho, does it come in really fat sizes? LOL

I don't really like it, I guess it would be okay for someone with no hips - otherwise I think it would just draw attention to that area.

There are lots of affordable suits at Newport News. I've bought a few from there. Take a look, maybe you will find something you like even better?

I am not fond of one pieces either but my tummy says I need to be found this one at JcPenneys and really love it...see what you think....I love plaid and navy and yellow so this might be it instead no i can b from anystore

I think the first one is cute, but not for anyone with a tummy or large hips. I like the one at Pennys, but would like it better with a shorter skirt. It is so hard for me to find a suit that I like. I wear a tankini now and like it, but I'm ready for a new one.

Okay going to look at Newport News we are going shopping tomorrow we had to drive to Sulphur an Dayna is coming to pic me up for shoppig and lunch and they got their hottub pool in and she just wants us to hang out...I need to post the pics her pool and hotbub are awesome....Stacy

I wish I could shave that close!!!!!

I prefer a one-piece that has a little skirt area to hide my hips.
But it is a cute swim suit.

I love the skirts also Sam an when we are out on the boat and stop at a resturant o eat I just slip on a tank top and flip flops.....I think I will go with the one from JcPenneys......Stacy

Being the fashionEsta that I am, here's my 2 cents. Answer these questions:

1) Are you under 25 or young in age?
2) Do you have a small frame and wear a size 8 or smaller?
3) Are you small busted?

If you answered yes to all three (not two, not one), then I say GO FOR IT. Otherwise, get something more your age. This one is great for teens or early 20s with a tiny frame, IMO.

Boy, I hate when they use my body with someone else's head!

I'm sure which one you choose, you'll be fine....Really nice looking bathing suits and the prices aren't bad...

It's a nice suit, but for show only - you would not be comfortable swimming in it. It's not built for activity, and this is an opinion from a guy. If your goal is to attract attention, this suit will do it, but you must have a good body to look good in this one.

I think the second one is adorable. So is the first one, but you have got to have a perfect figure for that one. It seems to me it would "enhance" all figure flaws.

If it is for you Glenda...I'd say no....I think it is too skimpy on the top for a senior. I'm not trying to be mean...just honest. Even if I were thin I would not wear it. But it is a cute suit.

It's really cute if you're really tiny and are under 25. The second one is better but the skirt is a little long. I like tankinis with a regular bathing suit bottom or shorts

I got the second one from Penneys but the part where it is plaid is stiped they were out of the plaid...I also got the skit it is not long at all but makes me feel better to have the skirt on my legs LOL.....DH said as we are taveling home we will stop and look at Penneys and see if I can find the plaid top also as I really love this bathing suit and feel very comfortable in it...Stacy
