1. Removed Japanese Beetles from pole beans and plum tree (again).

2. Visited farm market and came home with all sorts of good stuff. Actually put it away too! ;-)

3. Mowed front yard.

Waited til 5am to make breakfast.
Stayed at work all day.
Got Beef Jerky drying in the oven.
Easy day, forget the other dozen or so.

1. Got an account straightened out.

2. I met a friend for lunch.

3. Did a major shopping trip at Target for all those things we seem to use most.

Sounds like everyone was busy today.

1. Brought in a bunch of stuff from the garden, washed it, and put it away.....either in the fridge or on the counter. Found a zucchini that I've overlooked! OMG, it was ginormous. Also saw my first snake, which thrilled me! I've been seeing signs of voles. I told mr. snake to come back and bring his pals.

2. Did a quickie spiff up of the house....cleaned all the bathroom and kitchen surfaces (not floors), vacuumed the living room, made beds, dusted LR and office. That took about an hour.

3. Finished up a landscape design and report for client......yay! It's always a good feeling to have a project done.

1. We went to the farmer's market. Very few bargains there on veggies. We bought a few tomatoes, then went to the store and bought green beans and cauliflower which were cheaper.

2. Pushed a guy's car that wouldn't start who came to pick up some buckets that I was giving away. It's a standard and it eventually started. I hope he got home okay.

3. SOLD our sofa and loveseat that we had for sale on Kijiji. It's a PIA scheduling times and hanging around waiting for people to come. We only had one no-show which was last nite. I just emailed the people who were coming later tonite and tomorrow to see it. Thank heavens that's done. Our replacement mattress and new sofa and loveseat are being delivered Saturday.

Took the dog to the field to run around.

Took the car to crazy Costco to get the tired rotated.

Made a list of things to do tomorrow :-)

You don't know me, but many hugs to you Debby. I cannot imagine the pain that you endure.

I was going to say that I played mediator at work, smoothing co-worker's ruffled feelings.

I had a great day seeing my co-workers. My dog had cancer surgery and I spent the past two weeks working from home. I really enjoy the days when I go to the office.

I had a great heart to heart talk with my manager. It was a special and rare interaction and I treasured it.

It sounds like my whole life is my job :-) I really love what I do for money and for that I am thankful.

(((Debby))) I am so sorry for your loss. That is the worst pain in the world. It's been 8+ years since I lost my son...the pain never goes away, but it does get more bearable. My prayers are with you.

Thank you. His caregiver met me there. She hasn't been able to bring herself to go since his memorial service. It's been extremely difficult for her, but she did very well. I was glad she was finally able to come out. We both brought flowers, which were too many for the vase. ;) He loved red.
