According to my schedule it's on tonight from 8 to 10 pm. The All Star game was on last week, so no Hell's Kitchen.

It's in the tv book for tonight here. 7:00 central.

WIPING MY EYES, guess I was too sleepy.

Nice nap and I saw it :o)

Yeah, it was on, but I missed it so I watched it on the internet. Actually a better way to do it. Watched the two hour show in a lot less time. Not all the commercial breaks and I skip through the redundant parts.

It's boring this year. None of them deserve it. The ones I rooted for got kicked off and for the most part they deserved it. In years past they had some really good people, although some of the best got kicked off. Maybe the ones who left didn't smoke enough. Is it sponsored by the tobacco companies????

hahahaha. I always mention the smoking thing too. I guess it is a high stress job but how can you be this wonderful great chef and have a wonderful palette if you smoke? I have heard Gordon say that alot. How can you taste things when you smoke?

So far I think someone is going to come in under the radar as they have from past shows. They only go on to work in the job for a year or so, unless they do really well. They don't become HEAD chef. I know the sous chef on the girls team was either a past winner or second runner up in past shows. Can't remember now which season.

The guy that won last year for the olympic job is now at another position. He was only head chef in name, he just wasn't low man on totem pole.

It is a great opportunity, but I couldn't do it with all the yelling that goes on. I know it is mostly for show but I cry much to easily and get too flustered when I am pushed like that.

Looking at the show where they did the palette test, none of them can really taste anything.

And yes, I know they aren't totally in charge, they have a higher than normal position and a title. But as you said it's a great opportunity. Kind of like the ones on Apprentice or whatever it's called who supposedly run companies?

I'm just curious why they choose smokers so much. I find it hard to believe that the ratio of smokers in chefs and chef wannabes would be that high so they're choosing them for it methinks.

The other thing that amazes me are the ones who burn something or whatever and try to sneak it by. How do they think Ramsay WON'T see burned scallops?? LOL What were they smoking??

No surprise that another show is pre-empted by the ball jockies. Haven't we learned yet, that if there is a ball, puck, shuttlecock or what ever people PLAY with, and the people who PLAY for a living, take precedence over any other shows.
