The story usually is Stacy. I am sorry for that. But glad she and the babies will have a new life!!!

I went through this with my sister (it was a little different but still the same) 2 years ago in Sept. I'm happy to report she is doing great! Back to working and feeling good.

I know Kasey can do it too!!

God grant her the strength to see this through and find out that she is strong and that she and the kids are worth it.

I am so happy to hear this. She must stay strong for her children. Not sure what was the final straw for her, but glad to hear they are all safe. I think one of the best parts is the mandatory counseling. It will really open her eyes I think. Will the kids receive any counseling too??

Thank you all so much....I am just crying reading all the support here......I am not sure but I pray the kids will get counseling also....I know Levi for sure needs it...as the girls also...but he is turned like lee he has seen soo much as has Gabriel and the 2 little girls....Lakota has a appt. in Tulsa with a specialist and they are going to run abunch of tests on him to see if they can find out what all is wrong.....
I am 5 1/2 hrs away but call her 2 times aday and spent time with them yesterday...I will continue to call everyday.....got them clothes and money and my bro. and sister in law are in the town she is in....so they will be right there if needed.....I am going to ship more clothes out tuesday or wednesday for them and my sis in law will take them and visit with her some.....we don't get to go to her home but have to set up a meeting with her...she can only accept calls from Me, Syd Brian or her Dad.....and if she calls anyone it is 10.00 for like 5 min. and Lee's phone can't recieve long distance or collect so we are safe there!!!! Please continue keeping them in your prayers....Stacy

I'm glad to hear that you can keep in contact with her. I knew there would have to be strict rules on that. It has to be some comfort to have some of your family close by that can help out with you being so far away.

Stacy...it is truly wonderrful news! I know how heartbroken you were thinking about what she and those beautiful grandbabies were going through.

There is nothing that hurts me more that to see my kids or grandkid and now great grandkids being hurt.

My computer has been down for a week and I've missed a lot on here. So I don't know what has happened...
All I remember is that things were never good.

My daughter that has custody of my greatgrandaughter is worried that she will lose her because she lost her job a week ago. Praying that won't happen. I don't want that little sweety of our to go into foster care system. She is only 9 months and I'm afraid they would adopt her out.

I don't know anything about this stuff because we have never before had any dealings with any of it. It is all new to me.

Oh Stacy for years that you've been posting your fears I've prayed to hear this news. Now the prayer will be that she stays strong! I know it is a sad yet happy situation (went through similiar almost 2 years ago with my Sis-in-law as my brother is abusive)...But that is in the past, she is safe now!

Oh, good! I hope she stays strong and stays out of that toxic relationship. I'm surprised that Lee isn't in jail by now, how do men get away with this stuff, year after year?

I have a friend who was married to an abusive man and it took him turning on the girls for her to wake up and leave him, and seek shelter. His not wanting to pay child support drove HIM into hiding, which was hard on her but helpful, too. Men like that are such pathetic bullies.

Thanx again everyone! Haven't talked to her this morning as Lakota has a appt. with a specialist..but will talk to her this evening. My sil is going to take her a stroller and clothes when she gets back from the doc. And she even called her yesterday (Kasey called her aunt) this is the frist time since Levi was a baby that they have talked...the best part is...my sil was in a very abusive relationship before she married my brother and she is willing to share her story with Kasey....so they are planning on meeting tonight...Kasey sounded great last night when I talked to her and if she is up to it my parents are going to visit her tomorrow (they too haven't seen her since Levi was a baby they are over the moon!)

I can't help but ask.....are any of you taking precautions so Lee can't follow and figure out where she is at?? I always thought abuse shelters were top secret.
