While perusing my Reader's Digest today I ran across an ad for a sleeping pill. I don't normally read those ads, but I noticed that there were FOUR pages of info about the drug after the initial ad, so I took a look. I found somthing that I was was hilarious and thought I'd share it with you:

ROTFLMAO! I didn't know there was a thread going on about this. It's about time somebody mentioned this! I LOL daily when I peruse the CL's ads. Where are these people coming from? People, proof your ads before you hit that "submit" button. I really LOL when they list an appliance for sale that is so filthy and then they say "would really look nice when cleaned up". Well, duh, clean it up before you take the picture and heck, you might actually "sale" it! I'm glad somebody posted this thread, I've been thinking the very same thing for months. LOL Now I think I'll go have a looky at Craig's list and see if I can find me sum of them thar anteek chester draws.

I bought a top of the line Maytag washer & dryer for our first house from a man who said he was selling because he'd given them to his wife for Christmas and she left him.! One of my favorite classified ads described the style of a dining room table and chairs as Chip 'N Dale.

RE: those particular Disney characters I went to Disney World with my nephews, who were about 4 & 6 at the time. We asked the 4 yo what was his favorite part and he said having his picture taken with ship. What ship? He replied in a how could you be so stupid way: Ship, Dale's brother Still makes me snicker and he's 24 now. Sorry, no CL stories to share.

That is funny....and scary.
Instead of saying ..... THE DEVIL MADE ME DO IT......you can say....THE SLEEPING MEDICINE MADE ME DO IT. LOL Dotttie

My goodness, it seems there are a lot of meds that carry that warning. Who would have thought?.....

I initially thought you are joking as in it was in the Humor Section.

Here is a link that might be useful: you may get up out of bed without being fully awake and do an activity that you do not know you are doing

Ambien (sp?) has a side effect like that. My insurance company will not cover a prescription once you turn 65. I assume that is because of the side effect.

So, I guess what your insurance company is saying is that it is alright to do those things when you are 64. I usually understand an insurance company's perspective, but now and then what they will and won't do seems a little over the top.

Sheila Joyce, that is an ad for Ambien. But I was surprised at how many medications have those same side effects.
