To top it all off... When we blow the leaves, we blow them across the road because there is a big field right across the road. Well, yesterday I decided to go grab some more leaves before they got taken up by the park manager or waste management. I would suck the leaves back up with my blower, dump them back out when it was full, suck them back up again (which shreds them even finer) and then fill the leaf bags. My neighbors all must have thought I was crazy! A lot of people around here don't understand the value of their fall leaves. They just blow them all out on the road and forget about them. I must have looked like a crazy woman yesterday as I stood there sucking back up the leaves from across the street that were just blown across the street, dumping them back out again and sucking them back up! lol I don't really care what they think, because next year when my garden is flourishing with the help of some leaves, they'll all wonder how I did it! lol

Ugh! That'd give you nightmares. Reminds me of this, umm, thing, a woman at work has displayed. It's a bunch of wire and hideous turquoise string, and it's sitting on a piece of driftwood.

I got a "free to good home" dog off of Craiglist. The previous owners interviewed and checked out several potential owners before choosing us as the new adoptive parents. She's the sweetest Rottie you could ever want and I still stay in touch with the gal who had to give her up. I bought my Black Lab from a "backyard breeder" off of Craiglist. Why? Because I wanted a Black Lab male puppy and I don't neuter the males until they are at least 18 months old for the health of their bones. Couldn't do that if I got a pup from a shelter. I got my "heartdog" as a giveaway in front of a restaurant. He was a "surprise puppy" (an only whose daddy was a fence jumper) and my best friend for 11 wonderful years. I also had to put down a dog I "adopted" (bought for 200.00) from a rescue. I had him 3 days when I realized why he had been to 3 previous homes and brought back. That dog was a beautiful boy but a tragedy waiting to happen. He was "flat-eyed" and far to dangerous to live with anyone. Yes he could have lived out is life with very specific circumstances geared to making sure he never maimed or killed anyone but that would have been no real quality of life for such a beautiful beast. I had him put down privately at my own vets and paid another 250 to have it done. No way was I taking him back to that crazy rescue.

Yes I also noticed the date it was posted. But, it's a legit address (I looked it up). And the stove does appear to have those foil liners in the burners, that usually means it's being used.

I don't like the design. Look where the knobs are. You would be reaching across cooking, hot, steamy pots to adjust or turn on or off a burner. Bad design.

Nice looking stove! My knobs are like that on mine, it's a good design actually if you have little ones in the house - they can't reach them.

I bought a top of the line Maytag washer & dryer for our first house from a man who said he was selling because he'd given them to his wife for Christmas and she left him.!

One of my favorite classified ads described the style of a dining room table and chairs as Chip 'N Dale.

I can see why she wants a new one. This stove has those old fashioned coils. I have a smooth glass top. I would rather have gas.

The Chip 'N Dale was was in a newspaper ad. With them, you could never tell if the person placing the ad over the phone was 'nuts' or if it was the ad-taker.
