I just finished painting my entryway, hallway, and the wall going up the stairs Cambelback. Upstairs in the gameroom and the ceilings we used Whole Wheat at it is beautiful. I have a lot of natural light on the walls with the camel back, and not as much in the gameroom, so they really look the same. I would use Camelback and believeable buff together if you want a noticeable contrast, as that is what I plan to use in the kitchen area. Good luck. They are beautiful colors...... skyedog, that is very interesting...All of the colors that I'm looking for are in the 900's, which I believe are neutral pale colors--colors I would never have even looked at a few years ago. Maybe they fell out of favor with the public. I'm repainting a red dining room (had this color for close to 10 years and would like a change!)and want something light. After scouring the internet looking for ideas, many of the BM colors I want chips for are in the 900 range. It's senseless to me to order multiple sample pots without seeing the chip in the setting. It's possible, as ttodd said, that these chips are available under another name/number. That is something I hadn't thought of when I when I inquired about the chips. At least SW has many neutral pale colors on a separate display with large cards...

I want to keep people employed, I just prefer buying from actual companies that make the products and will ship their products out to me directly, not Amazon if possible. My husband worked for Amazon briefly, and another friend earlier on. I know all about what kind of company they are. Helping employees is not on their radar, long or short term. You are more expendable than a robot to them, they care not for any physical toll working there takes on you, so if you go into it with that in mind, you should be fine with the conditions. Let's be realistic about their business model, they are the world's largest warehouse and their genius disruption of the markets came from leveraging the Internet and creating search engines and the idea of customer reviews instead of interacting with a store clerk. They are not the only ones like this in the modern era though. I was just impressed with the actual online chat I had with a real person service representative at the Current card company. i used to be able to go to a brick and mortar store in my home town to buy Current cards, but such days are long gone sadly. I had also forgotten about Blue Mountain, I used to get their cards a lot. If I'm going to migrate to online, I want to deal online with the actual companies that operate similarly to a brick an mortar store, with knowledgeable employees focused on selling a high quality product and serving their customers so they will be loyal. It seemed odd that there was an entire aisle almost of thank you notes in boxes at Walgreens, but little in the way of note cards to write a sympathy note on. I used to have many, have downsized my stock because I got tired of moving and unpacking it. But I am reclaiming my writing desk and so far it has stayed in one place for more than two years . . .

Oh sorry - I went off in a different direction. I'm not a big fan of gift cards in general, especially ones that tie you into one specific restaurant or store. I've had a few bad experiences where the cards went unused - in one instance the restaurant closed unexpectedly and I still have one for the Rittenhouse Spa that DH gave me the Christmas before Covid. I can still use it but just haven't felt inclined to book it. Now that the kids are older we've tried to simplify things. They own their own homes and two have children. They have repeatedly commented that they don't need stuff. I don't have a problem with giving them money and we give them checks on Christmas and their birthdays and it is definitely what they want and can use. A few years ago one of the kids set up Elfster- an online gift exchange that his wife uses with her large, extended family. It resembles a Pollyanna - you're matched up with one other family member, a price limit is set and each participant has to suggest things that they would like to receive and they can even include a link to the actual item. This is the third year and it's worked out well and is helpful in eliminating the 'stuff' factor.
