My Grand Daughter just sent me this e-mail.

My 2 year old has to much attitude for such a small body, he just told me I was getting on his nerves lol oh boy.

He can talk the hind legs off you.

Kids! That's pretty darned good for a two-year old. Bet you wish you could give that boy a big hug!

That's cute--smart boy!

A friend of mine had surgery on her broken ankle today, an operation in which they put in a rod and screws. When she got home, her 5-year-old son asked her if she got screwed. When you consider the cost of medical care today, it was not an inappropriate question. LOL

Oh no! No more stuck marshmallows! I'm sure you've enjoyed having her. Good idea to have her help you go through the toys before she leaves. Especially, with your own style, you'd hang onto all of it "just in case." Now, you'll have room for toys on the next visit. Too bad I can't ship you some of these kids here. If school doesn't start pretty soon, I'm going to lose my mind. Gloria

HA! Oh, I was ONE of those kids, I'm afraid! My dad's work assistant even knew my father's penchant for taking things home that no one else wanted. So when a coworker came down with a bit of old equipment and asked my dad's assistant if he'd want it, she just laughed and said, "He'll want it. He wants everything." I don't recall what he ended up using it for, but he did use it. Find consolation, Sistersunnie, in knowing someday your kids will think fondly on it all. I know now that Dad wouldn't be Dad without it. :-) --Jenn http://web.mac.com/thriftshopromantic/iWeb/

My daughter, when a toddler, had trouble with syllable placement. A butteryfly was a flutterby; a catapillar was a patterkiller; and hamburger was hamgurber.

Be careful with these malaprops. Once you've voiced these out loud, you may have trouble saying the proper words. LOL

Toddlers are great at repeating what they've been told! Guess he's one who can get on mom or dad's nerves from time to time himself :-)
