Sorry to hear you got hail, Jali, but really glad to hear it wasn't "too" bad this time! I remember a few years back when you posted pics of "what was left" of your tomatoes--STEMS! So glad to hear that didn't happen again, especially this late when there wouldn't be time at all for them to recover! Were the tornado warnings out there anywhere near you yesterday? Didn't get anything at all up here on the North End yesterday--could hardly believe it when the severe thunderstorm and tornado warnings started scrolling across the TV screen! Hopin' for some hail-less precip today--or in the next couple days at least! The monsoon has been fairly good to me this year, but I have WAY had it with the humidity! For weeks now the humidity INSIDE my house has been over 50%, unheard of for THAT long, and I am SO tired of feeling cold and clammy all the time! So if it's gonna stay this humid I hope I at least get some more actual precip with it! Julie, if you are reading this I hope you don't mind me answering. I have a feeling you don't because if I thought you did, I wouldn't do so. No, Julie is not able to live in her own home yet and there is a good possibility she will not be able to go back to her beautiful home. It is a rather secluded place and her family isn't very close to her there. She is still at her son's home in Tennessee at this time and can get around fairly well in an electric powered wheel chair. hi everyone! i almost scrolled right by this warm welcome back! thanks lydia for seeing me and to everyone else for the kind posts. things are about the same with me and my condition. no chance of getting out of my "chariot" so i just deal with it......life could be worse. my rearend still rebels from sitting all day so only get spurts of computer time. my move back to my home was the best decision i could have made although i employ two very lazy caregivers and need to make some serious changes! i could write a book......
july has been crazy with my kids and grandkids coming and going. anywhere from 2 to 12 extra every day except for a week. loved every minute..well, almost every minute except for the ones when i'm glad i didn't have to be the patient parent.lol.
thanks again for finding me and bringing back good memories of good cyber friends. i'll try to be here more often.
