I stayed over night in Los Angeles when our plane to Hawaii was delayed.

I was in Atlanta for a couple of hours.

London and Atlanta. Actually some of the "Atlanta" games were held right here in Athens, Ga. I was in Ireland during the Atlanta games.

Gosh, I've been to more than I thought!
Paris, London, Antwerp, Amsterdam, Los Angeles, Berlin, Rome, Munich, Atlanta, Salt Lake City, Innsbruck, St. Moritz.

I have traveled by motorcycle through or on an expressway around St. Louis, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Lake Placid, Squaw Valley, Calgary, and Salt Lake City.

I've been to more than I thought also. The 1984 LA games had the bike races in my town (Mission Viejo). My mom was a volunteer on the course.

Wow, Flamey...I didn't know that Woody was an Olympic athlete.
It must have been a fascinating experience.

He really enjoyed it, Monica. He was in Vietnam at the time and they pulled him out to compete, so he had a really nice R & R in Tokyo, competing, fraternizing with the Aussie swim team, etc. lol He has some great stories, but he doesn't offer them up very often. (He's humble, I'm proud.) :) He didn't make it to the finals, but he had a blast. When the Olympics were over, they sent him back to Vietnam to finish his tour, he had 2 weeks left to do. (I thought that was mean and scary.) It was the first time Judo was an Olympic sport, each host country gets to add a sport and Japan picked Judo.

Just recently, I hung up the inlaid table that he shippped home from Tokyo to his mother, it's a nice momento of his trip.

I haven't been to Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany but just last month I designed a logo that was embroidered on polo shirts for a group of employees in our London office who were going to Garmisch-Partenkirchen for a recharging, regrouping get-away.
