Screensavers from KT...

I love all the flowers and gardens you all post. I save them and have a wonderful slideshow of them as my screen saver...thanks for posting them!

I just use the daily posts as wallpaper and change them.
By using them as a screensaver, can I just have these pics cycle, versus ALL the pics on the computer?

I admit to using your pics too. I have pets and gardens on my home computer. I love looking at them. Some of you are just so talented with your photography too. I just added Alisande's fly to my show too. Very cool!

JM, thanks for the reply but when I clicked on your first connection I get the WOT warning "UNSAFE SITE". Just thought I would let you know. I tried the second connection you posted a link for only because I know you are a trusted member on this forum. It downloaded alright But when I tried to install it I got a ERROR message that says "DREAM AQUARIUM NOT PROPERLY INSTALLED" So I'm not sure what went wrong, just thought I would let you know so you could have someone else see if they had the same results. It sure sounds like something I would like to have, just what I had in mind. DA, yes you're right, it's one of the reasons I didn't poke around too much on the Google site, although there are many that have the green WOT indicator, sometimes when you click on one it leads you off into places that don't look too secure.

i'm pretty sure HAARP can not be species specific and nearly all of the birds were red-wing blackbirds or a subspecies. it's something specific to those birds & specific to those fish... fireworks please LOL i'm an educated person LOL those birds do not fly in the middle of the night lol. when 'officials' start saying stuff like that it makes me 1. want to see their intellectual credentials 2. disbelieve and laugh at all of their conclusions lol. this will get lost in the news of wed just like the missile fired off the west coast story did...and we never find out the truth because everyone just goes on. just like the 'officials' would like lol. if i lived in arkansas thou i'd be very concerned about what happened to those birds, the fish not so much as that is explainable and right now there are some serious issues w/ birds elsewhere on the planet. ~ liz

Thank you for your prayers and please keep them going.When Jim woke up this morning his right leg was really giving him a lot of pain. We were at the hospital and he went in for surgery. It took longer than they said it would so we were getting worried. The doctor finally came out and told us there was a problem. When they went in to fix the blockage,it turned out that the stint that they had put in earlier was was completely blocked and they couldn't get the catheter in, so they put him in ICU and he was put on an ultrasound and a blood thinner and some other meds. to hopefully get the clot cleared. He has some feeling coming back into his right foot and they said that was a good thing. If all goes well during the night they will take him down in the morning and try to finish the surgery. Please keep the prayers going.

I used to use KT pics until I had a grandson.....Now Jake and/or Mio are my screen savers and wallpaper.

Collecting desktop wallpaper is sort of a hobby with me. I feel so good when I look at pretty pictures and usually change them every 3 or 4 days. But my new PC has Vista on it and it is difficult to center the pictures, takes a dozen steps when XP only took a couple. That is my main complaint about Vista.

stargazzer,i have vista also and don't have a problem changing my desktop.I just right click on them.

What i always wondered about is if i am some how supposed to remove the present one before adding another,and if so how do i do it??TIA

Kathi mdgd,
You might want to save the pictures that you like in your documents or a special folder in My Pictures. That way they will still be available when you change your desktop wallpaper or screen saver.
You can than choose the pictures from those collections, and when you switch, it will still be in your collection.

Kathi, you don't have to remove it, but you need to save it from where you got it to a folder or you will lose the picture when you set another wallpaper.

I don't have a problem changing my wallpaper, I have trouble setting the option to "center" and setting a color around it. I don't like "in your face" photos. They are nicer if the are centered and a color that fits the picture frames it.

I use the free software from Webshots. I have it set to change my wallpaper every 15 minutes, and it also runs my screen saver. You create collections, then you just put a check mark in the collections you want it to cycle through.
I've used it for years.
