It is true that Cindy tried to schedule a jail visit. Hard to believe after she killed her grandaughter and accused her husband and son of being molestors. I think she just wants to know the 'truth' but Casey will never tell.

She'll pay for the surgery and move out of Florida with the ridiculous amounts of money the MEDIA will pay her for her interviews and book deal.

i heard on the news this morning that her Mother tried to visit her in jail on Friday...and Casey refused to see her.
I saw that too and thought that the reason 'might' be that visits are not private (as we all know) and that they are recorded. She 'might' be afraid of slipping up and saying too much, or else didn't want to have to continuing with the lies to her mother and general public.
I can't help but think that she has felt and will continue to feel a lot of remorse for what has happened. It will likely haunt her (Casey) as well as all of her loved ones forever.

Why would she be afraid of slipping up and saying too much? She can yell from the roof tops, I killed her and dumped her body in the swamp. She can't be tried again....it would be double jeopardy. If she is guilty of the death of her little girl, accident or other=wise, SHE SHOULD FEEL REMORSE.

I disagree. Nothing will haunt Casey. She is a true sociopath.

Chemocurl, you're looking at her from the vantage point of being a mentally healthy person. Sadly, Casey is quite obviously a very, very sick young woman. Whether or not she killed her daughter--she is a very damaged young woman. She does NOT have the emotional capacity of most of us. She simply doesn't feel remorse, regret, compassion or empathy. Her world is Casey, nothing but Casey. I watched as much of the trial as I was physically able to fit into my schedule, and emotionally able to tolerate. NOT ONCE did I see anything that even looked like a shadow of remorse.

Note--I am NOT excusing her. I don't personally believe that mental illness is a free pass to commit crimes of all sorts.

DM--just one person's opinion, but I imagine she is furious with her parents. They testified against her. She is too egocentric to stop and think that her mother also put herself on the line by lying for her. Casey doesn't even appreciate that.

Agree with Azzalea 100%, I've mentioned many times that I saw no true emotion during the trial, her eyes are empty as if she had no soul. Sadly I don't think she is alone, I truly believe that our society has created this "all about me" monster many times over. I think that she simply took what she saw as the easy way out.

We are not privvy to what happened in that home but I think there is a lot more to this story. I believe that there is a reason that Cindy tried to take the blame, more than her just being a mom. I think there was probably a battle about caring for the baby and this is how Casey resolved it.

Casey is beyond damaged and broken. To me she personifies evil.

Why is it "society's" fault for creating the monster that is Casey Anthony? Why can't she just have been born that way, or more likely a product of her upbringing? I know that my son or daughter could never commit a crime such as this, because they were raised in a loving home. Likewise I myself did not kill my children because I wanted to party the night away because I was raised to be a responsible adult with the capacity to love someone more than I loved myself, or even more than I loved life as I would die to protect my children. Even now that my children are adults, I would die to protect them.

just saw an interesting interview on one of dr. drew's shows - with the woman who was inside the anthony home while she was acting as casey's body guard. she talked about this horrific fight between casey and cindy the night before casey left home -have heard this fight referenced before, supposedly knock-out-drag-out, but it was never talked about in court.

she said her theory was that casey was so furious and sick of cindy's rules for casey and jealous of cindy's love for caylee, that that's what forced her over the edge. she thinks casey took care of things the next day while george and cindy were at work/not home .... and then started her 31 days of celebrating.

this theory would explain all casey's hateful expressions toward cindy during the trial -remember when cindy mouthed "i love you" to casey as she exited the stand and casey rolled her eyes and snarled -and now the visit denial. and of course, i'm sure casey blames cindy for "pushing" her to do what she did -and further explains cindy's guilt which forced her to lie on the stand about the chloroform searches ............

I was able to avoid the trial altogether and her subsequent life is of less concern to me. But I imagine she'll pose for a mag, do the talk show circuit and get a "reality" show along with the Duggers and Octohag. Octo 8... Octo 7... Octo 6... Octo 5... There's enough kids to last for several seasons. Maybe she'll be the Celebrity Apprentice. With the infatuation people seem to have over her, I don't doubt she'll rake in millions.
