Microwave needs a fuse if it goes dark(I think) & won't cook(If just won't cook could be element). Unplug it & find the panel on side & unscrew the couple of little screws & take the old fuse out & get new 1 at appliance repair store.(They don't want you to know there is a fuse in them so you will just get a new 1) Put it in & should work. I had problem with my washing machine & I just used different cycle, PP works fine, normal doesn't. Dad said it's the timer that needs replacing but I've used it for at least 3 yrs like this so why bother. Yes, stuff happens in 3's and best to get going on those 3 things as I've found it can quickly become 4-5 things at once and that gets messy as 1 parent or another would end up in hospital & try getting something repaired or replaced when you are juggling the rest of it. Of course you can't always afford a new dryer or are waiting for a sale. I once hug clothes from 1 end of my house (kitchen door) to far end of hall as I was sure they would have a Nov. sale at Sears & give a "free turkey" like they had last couple of years! Well, that year there was no free turkey & I waited until Jan. to get a good sale & going through line of wet clothes to get to rest of house is a real pain, like when I was little & mom hung clothes across basement where we lived. Talk about "Heaven on earth" there was no upstairs so the sheep walked all over the roof & baaaaa'd, seemed like all night. It was muddy out & mom & I hated it! Glad we moved to town few months later. Things are better now even when things are broke!LOL Hope you are back to normal! Jan

Great post. 1. Select excellent seeds of varieties known to do well in your area (check the forums) and start several seeds in good mix in at least 4" pots. Select for strongest seedling after about 3-4 weeks (snip the others with scissors, don't pull). 2. Plant deeply into well prepared, amended soil in raised bed or mounded row, including lots of organics (compost, natural mulches added additionally over the years), with additional bonemeal in the hole. Have it tested if it doesn't seem to be right. If you must fertilizer use organic pellets. 3. Lots of sun and good water. Water infrequently but deeply and slowly. Drip irrigation lets you water more often but even more slowly (best). Notes: You really shouldn't have to fertilize your tomatoes once they're growing if your soil is right. But a foliar spray of liquid seaweed or other organic, micronutrient solutions produce amazing results quickly for ailing plants. Keep foliage dry if at all possible and spray them in the morning if necessary. Also make sure to give each plant enough room for ventilation and root space. Neem oil works great for most pest probs but can sometimes burn young leaves. Organic mulches keep fruit off the ground (for sprawling), breakdown into good stuff, and keep soil from splashing up onto the plant when it rains (important). Cages allow for keeping fruit off the ground and protect them from sunscald.

I kind of believe it.... In the past 2 weeks I had a neice in the hospital who needed an emergency operation, a uncle had a heart attack and a great uncle passed away. Nobody in my family has died or been seriously ill for years... then bam... three in a row.

I must add a thank you to dianalo for doing some of the "mashups" to help me. These are very good points about the coffee table over the orange rug. I will really have to think about that. The ombre stripes would go at a 90 degree angle to the coffee table. Here is the CL coffee table with metal legs but still a light golden top. Right now I'm thinking that perhaps one of the brown rugs will look better with the furniture and then perhaps the orange as a runner behind the sofa? That is also our main entry, so we have to have a rug there. Of course, here is the HGTV rug that we also like, but this rug is $500 and not wool. As shown, it's actually a black background, but it's also got brown, green, and beige. It is available with any of the colors as a background, so we could also go with brown.
