What brand of toothpaste do you usually buy? I most always buy Crest?

My daughter taught me how to cook bacon in the oven then freeze it. Here is how: Pre-heat oven to 325 degrees. Cover a short-lipped large sheet pan with aluminum foil. Lay out strips of bacon on the foil-covered pan and put into the oven. Check occasionally for doneness. We like our bacon crisp so cook it for about 30 minutes - just keep checking it through the glass on the door. When done, carefully remove from oven and put on stovetop to cool off. When somewhat cooled, remove bacon to a paper towel. When bacon has completely cooled and drained, lay out on a cookie sheet and put into the freezer. When bacon has frozen, put into Ziploc bag and put in freezer. The rendered fat is very clear and you can pour it into a container to keep for when you need bacon fat. Edited to change oven temp. My favorite restaurant supply store find is my measuring scoops. I gave a set to Diana in the my favorite things swap - you can see a picture on that thread. Restaurant supply stores are good for getting substantial stainless steel measuring cups and spoons instead of the wimpy aluminum ones that bend or dent. Or the big thin spatulas that can be used for tasks like lifting a layer of cake after you have split it horizontally to add fillings. In addition to what others have mentioned, they often have the cake pans with straight sides instead of sloped which is nice when making layer cakes. Around here there are two kinds - the ones that sell mainly food with a bit of equipment and the ones that sell mainly equipment - everything from utensils to major appliances. Smart and Final and Cash and Carry are the food kind - they are under the same ownership but Cash and Carry is bigger with more specialized food. For example, our Smart and Final has a few kinds of Torani syrup but the Cash and Carry has the full line plus some other lines of flavoring syrups. The equipment ones aren't all equal either. The area that has Cash and Carry has about 3 of the non-food restaurant supply stores. One carries nicer more varied stuff than the other two. But all have at least the basics like the stainless steel sheet pans, good cooling racks and lots of utensils. All the ones around here are open to the public. So I'll ask again. Why would your first reaction be no? A layer of frozen water on a plant might actually protect it from getting more seriously chilled by a strong wind. Frozen water on a plant is perhaps less damaging than freezing wind. That is, if water is going to freeze, better it be water sitting on the surface of the foliage than water in the plant cells.

Gift bags, tissue paper, birthday cards, candy, orange or apple juice from the cooler I need a small amount for a recipe and Betty Crocker parchment sheets that come 10 in a bag, cat litter box when I need a new one. I know what I won't be buying there again, metal kitchen items. I bought a slotted spoon and just noticed last night it wasn't steel like I thought it was, it was coated metal and after I used it last night saw it was coated to look like steel and it was flaking off.

Right now I've got Crest Pro Health. When I was little,back in the 1950's , I remember Crest was the first toothpaste to add fluoride.

Crest Pro-Health. I use that mouthwash also. I used Sensodyne for many years and then a good friends who is a dental hygentist said that Pro-Health was best, even for sensitive teeth.

I tried Crest Pro Health and it gave me brown stains on my teeth. I called Crest and they said yes, it does that to some people's teeth and my dentist hygienist would be able to remove the stains. And they sent me a coupon for a free tube of tube of toothpaste. I was not pleased.

I use Colgate Total.

2 years ago I developed allergies to Crest, so I tried every brand on the shelf and still had the same problem (rash inside my mouth and on my lips). The toothpaste I now use is only available online. It doesn't have sulfates or other irritating ingredients.

Used to use Colgate almost exclusively but now pretty much a Crest convert since I can usually buy Crest far cheaper on clearance after the value valley sales end. I stocked up last fall when they had the 4 packs for under $2. Problem is I prefer the Lemon Ice flavor, and the orange is ok, but these of course were the mint-whatever that is so popular. Don't know why. I'd never buy a mint that tasted like that! Which reminds me of David Letterman's suggestion about the toothpaste blobs that always fill a sink.... "after dinner mints!"
