Joe Jackson believes 'foul play' involved

I just saw a portion of an interview that will play on Good Morning America next week. Joe Jackson put forth the idea that Michael Jackson's death was the result of foul play.

He also stated that he and Katherine would raise the children together. Isn't he the one that supposedly did such a job on Michael and messed up his life? Sheesh! There's something a bit off about that man.

What do you think?

Somehow I don't think a judge would let that happen.

Has anyone else noticed that Michael's younger son Blanket looks an awful lot like Miko Brando, Michaels long time friend?? Just and observation.

Honestly, who knows with that family? The only one I have truly cared for is his mother, Katherine. I just have always felt like she has had to put up with alot to try and keep her family somewhat in tact.(or least in her mind) I imagine if the accusations about Joe Jackson are true and he did beat on his kids, I am sure he did not spare is dear wife.(so sad) JMThoughts...

Hi all The last week has been nuts for me. Here is a bit of a list: set up a dog pen with pine bard nuggets, weeded the flower beds (well, hubby did most of that), kept taking the dog's temperature to see if it had dropped, shoveled out our storage room in the basement and reoganized it, gave away 30 boxes of teaching materials to one of my former students who is now on my staff, finished planting my 30 containers, had a litter of puppies, put down stepping stones on top of the old front side walk, ran the mommy dog to the vet because of complications, planted thyme between the stepping stones, ran the dog back to the vet because her temperature won't go down, had delivered 8 cubic yards of wood chips to mulch the back beds, feeding the dog extra special food, making her drink, giving her pills and watching her temperature, started mulching the back flower beds and am starting to wonder if I ordered too much. You might notice a thread happening .... yes, on top of the yard work, we had a litter of 6 healthy Shelties. The delivery was long and unfortunately, some of the placentas were retained. That can cause a lot of issues but the vet is on top of it and her temperature has dropped a bit. It isn't totally normal yet but we are working on it. Since she is on antibiotics, I have to give her and the puppies some yogurt to keep their intestinal flora working. She also wasn't eating or drinking enough so I had to figure out how to entice into eating and drinking. She is now fine in that department. Oh and my birthday was this week too! The puppies were born on that day. Here is a picture of mom and some of the puppies. It has been raining here on and off but not so much that I can't get into the garden to enjoy it. By the way, my pond has been clear for the first time in years but wouldn't you know it, the surface is completely covered in duck weed so you can't see the water or fish anyhow. I am scooping it up and throwing it in the composter. Tomorrow, we are going to be at it with putting the wood chips on the beds. I am happy how it looks so far. I just hope I didn't miscalculate and ordered too much. I got the chips from the local arbourist in case anyone wondered where they came from. Anyhow, this post is long enough. Happy gardening everyone. Danni

If you give your name to the police or they have caller ID you will probably be identified by name in the police report which is available to the public if someone asks for it. If he shouts directly at you and uses abusive or threatening language or gestures he can be charged with "assault" by the police with you as a witness. If he comes on your property while in that mode he would probably be arrested especially if alcohol or drugs are involved (which is highly likely). It helps to have another witness, video, etc. In any event, he would probably get a written warning and that would be noted at the dispatch level which would alert the police to bring backup if they were called to that address again. He obviously doesn't understand how much trouble he could get into by this kind of behavior. The downside is that you might have to testify against him in court. It's important to decide how much disruption to your life this guy is worth. Be glad he won't be living there.

Some things are so serious that you need to pay heed to the rumors even if the person never went to court. I was sitting with a couple of women discussing restaurants in town. One of them mentioned a "certain" restaurant and I told them that the owner was thought to be a pedophile. A waitress who worked there for years told me he was taken to court for molesting a child. One woman said, why would you say that about someone who was not found guilty in a court of law? I said, "because he had over night parties for kids at his home". Now why would a bachelor do that. I said rumors or truth, it doesn't matter, would you let your grand kids stay overnight there, even if it was a rumor and unproven in court. The other lady said, "my grandchild went to one of those parties". She was white as a sheet and said I wish I had known about the rumor.

I don't believe foul play is involved. MJ wanted drugs. MJ had money. Wave enough money in front of someone and sooner or later they take it OR MJ finds another doctor who will. Sad but true.

Yes, I believe Michael killed himself over time with the misuse of drugs. He was so mentally and physically messed up he could not stop himself. Too bad no one was able to step in and save him. Maybe it's good he's gone because he suffers no more, but he had more music to share and the world will not have that to enjoy now.

Blanket...which of the kids is called "Blanket?"

Joe Jacksons should not be allowed alone with his grandkids. Maybe he would beat or otherwise mistreat them also. I feel Grandma, aunts, and uncles will keep them safe from him.

As far as what I've heard, Joe and Katherine don't even live together, so how are he and Katherine going to raise the children?

On Larry King last night Miko Brando said he is not Blanket's father, and he said none of that is important anyway. Hmmm.

Pity these poor children who may never know who their real parents are. Of course they call MJ Dad, but he is not their Father. Of course, there are adopted children who never know their real parents, but this case is so bizarre there is no comparison to that. I also heard that there should have been a legal adoption by MJ, but that never happened.

If MJ wanted children, why did he not want to father them, which he could have done through supplying the sperm?

True, MJ got the drugs he wanted, but the doctors were giving them to him so I think they should be held responsible.

    Blanket is the youngest.

If MJ was diagnosed with lupus and vitiligo perhaps he was concerned that his children would also develop them. Lupus is an autoimmune disease- it's isn't directly inherited but you can be genetically predisposed. Since the cause and the cure aren't known he might have been cautious about the possibility of passing them along.

    Enjoys spring,

Yes, I had that thought too of the youngest aka Blanket( I really wish he was called by a different name but since older brother has the same name...) looked like the spitting image of Miko Brando. He was doing a lot of interviews at first but haven't seen him lately. I don't know but he kind of gave me the creeps(Miko) You don't think he will try and get custody do you? I really have to stop watching this train wreck in progress but hard to look away. We must not be the only ones who see the resemblance of Miko and Blanket. As for the two older from what I know (not much) children born during a marriage, regardless of parentage are considered children of that marriage so adoption is not a issue, in most cases. MJ and Debbie R. were married at the time of birth on 2 older children.

A lot of people who want children choose not to have their own kids biologically. My own daughter is considering adopting, and she is not aware of any fertility issues- it's not about that for her.

I believe that anyone who provided drugs to MJ illicitly (or to anyone else, for that matter), should be held accountable.

One radio or tv panel discussion of people who know of the Jackson family said that Joe lives in their house a lot. They also talked of the comments made that Joe molested his kids. I sure hope he is not around those grandkids in their home and not alone with them. MJ had reasons for his strong dislike of that man.

MJ's wife Debbie Rowe, is Caucasian, blond and pale. Any kids they have will be Mulatto. The two children from their marriage look to be racially mixed just like one would expect. The youngest child MJ has, is said to be adopted so one would not expect the child to look anything like him, unless the child was adopted from a relative as some people do with adoption. Then there may be some family resemblance.

Supposedly the adoption of Blanket was done using a surrogate mother and MJ as the father.

Whatever the case, it should just be a matter between MJ and his (now divorced) wife. Why are so many people speculating on the parentage of their children? Do they do that with their neighbors and co-workers?

    last modified: 11 years ago

I don't see that the oldest 2 look racially mixed at all. No way

I also don't think Katharine--who couldn't protect her own kids from Monster Joe is the person to hand these poor kids over to.

My vote has always been for Rebbi to take them. She seems to be the most grounded of all the Jacksons (and some of you are probably saying 'who's Rebbi?'--which just confirms my point.)

But the fact is, these poor kids have had such an ubelievalby bizarre life up til now, even if they were put in an obscure, wholsome, loving caring family--they probably wouldn't have much of a chance at achieving 'normal'. Are you aware that their toys were thrown out every night and new ones appeared in the morning? and that's just one of the excesses they've lived with all their lives.

I would think at some time the children would be curious about their biological parents. Right now it's like finding your face on a milk carton or "who am I really" You've grown up without a mother and now your father has died and strangers are coming out of the woodwork claiming to be family.
In the Martin Bashir documentary, MJ describes running home with Paris as soon as they cut the cord and before they cleaned her up. Did he not ever think she would ever hear about this strange behavior?
He didn't adopt but bought 3 white babies because he could.
The whole thing is creepy and I see tons of therapy in the kids futures.

    last modified: 11 years ago

Yesterday, I watched an interview from 3 years ago w/Michael-he said that Paris was named Paris as that's where she was 'conceived'...and that Blanket's surrogate mother who received MJ's sperm-was a black woman-not white like the 1st 2 children's mother. MJ said he didn't know her, nor care-"as long as she was healthy & had some intellect'. He also told the interviewer that Paris' blue eyes didn't necessarily come from her mother as MJ's dad Joe, has blue eyes.

    last modified: 11 years ago

I read that the third child nicknamed "Blanket" was borne by a surrogate mother, identity unknown.

"He also told the interviewer that Paris' blue eyes didn't necessarily come from her mother as MJ's dad Joe, has blue eyes."

Then if he said that, he does not understand how genetics work. Blue eyes is a recessive trait and for a child to have blue eyes the recessive trait must come from both the mother and father. In humans eye color is a complex polygenic trait. MJ's father DOES have blue eyes. MJ could very well carry the recessive trait for blue making him a Tt. Rowe DOES have blue eyes. She can only give the trait for blue since she would be tt. They would have a 50/50 change of having blue eyes children BUT, that does not mean that in the roll of the dice, that ALL of their children could be blue eyed OR ALL of them brown eyed. Each genetic deposition at the time is a unique event and not predicated on the previous outcomes. In other words.......if you toss a coin, you have a 50/50 chance of it coming up heads or tails. That is the mathematical fact. BUT, if you toss a coin ten times, it could come up heads ten times in a row. Or come up heads only three times. Or only once.

You are referring to Maureen Reilette Jackson who is best know for her recorded single, using the stage name Rebbie. Michael wrote and produced, and also sang with her (along with LaToya). There was also a video to go along with the single. The song did not do too well, and her career never took off despite another try at singing in the late 90s.

I might be remembered from another MJ thread as being a Michael-hater so surprise, surprise here I come to his defense as a father.

It is my belief that MJ is the real father of all three children, whether he was the biological father or not. A real father is the person that raises the child and it is very clear, even with them being shielded from the press that they were a real family unit.

I get tired of hearing people talk about "real" mothers and "real" fathers when they are talking biology. In an adoptive situation adoptive parents should be referred to as the real parents (i.e. the dedicated party that commits to raising the child) and the biological parents as simply "biological parent". After all, isn't that what you would call Debbie Rowe? I would never call her a real parent.

All three of those children have my sympathies. I hope they are kept away from Joe Jackson, he really seems to be the epitomy of evil.

Adoption is a legal process...and it seems that no one can find any legal adoption of any of the children by Michael.

Adoption is a legal process...and it seems that no one can find any legal adoption of any of the children by Michael."

No. I meant adoption. I am not ignorant. Depending on the law where one resides, when a surrogate is used an adoption takes place to cement the legality and prevent any "biologicals" from popping up out of the woodwork and claiming a child years down the road. According to the news reports, Blanket was legally ADOPTED from out of a surrogate arrangement. Supposedly the surrogate arrangement involved using MJ as the biological father. There was an adoption and there is paperwork to prove it.

Supposedly the surrogate mother who carried the child, was never told who the adoptive parent(s) were whom she was giving up the baby to. It was purely a business decision. As is often the case with surrogates, the birth mother does not meet or know anything about the parent(s) and the adoptive parent(s) do not meet or know the birth mother. This is not always the case of course, things can be worked out differently with a lawyer to make the arrangement palatable to all parties involved. Sometimes visitation with the child is allowed throughout the child's life. It all depends on the paperwork and the arrangements put forth in the documents, and the state/country where the transaction takes place. We have all seen stories in the news where a surrogate or donor has a change of mind last minute and wants to retain legal parentage. With a surrogate birth, sometimes the adoptive mother's eggs are implanted in the surrogate, and sometimes the surrogate's eggs are used. It can get complicated. Donor sperm may come from the adoptive father and maybe not. This is why a legal adoption is necessary for tighten up any "loose ends" that may blow up later. In some states a surrogate has up to a year after the birth to rescind their agreement with the adoptive couple due to how highly emotionally charged situations like this are.

"I doubt very much that he is the bio father of any of the children...or the legal parent."

In both certificates for the children born during their marriage, the father is listed as Michael Jackson. The mother listed is Deborah Rowe. The place of birth for Michael Jr. is Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A. The place of birth for Paris is listed as Spaulding Pain Medical Center in Beverly Hills. This makes them his children legally. No 'ifs' 'ands' or 'buts'. I don't see a court battle in the future. THAT IS THE LAW. He is the legal parent. He does not need any "adoption papers" for Paris and Prince Michael. It is pretty cut and dried.

How would you feel if people started asking to see "your adoption papers" for the children you had, had when you were married?

I'm sure if there were any shenanigans regarding the identity of the children, it would have come up during MJ's and Ms. Rowe's divorce. The courts just don't assign legal custody of children on a whim. If those were kidnapped children without any birth certificates, the divorce court would have ferreted a fact like that out. Unless you believe the judge was bribed?

I shudder to think what would have happened if Lisa Marie, (MJ's first wife.) had had children during their marriage. I can just see all the crazy speculation........"They used Elvis' sperm!" "Lisa had an affair with her Chinese hairdresser! The children look like her hairdresser!"

Posted by zeetera: "Azzalea, Rebbie is Centipede! lol, that's the only thing I remember her for."

If you read the whole interview, what she is saying philosophical. The media blew it out of proportion. They lifted quotes out of context and used them in headlines.

She is saying that the people around MJ in his camp, used and manipulated him, overprescribed drugs, and worked him to death, much like the situation with Brittany Spears, Judy Garland and other musical child stars who were controlled by their "handlers" their whole life.

She is not saying that there was any planned homicide orchestrated. There was no limo ride through a dark tunnel in a Paris on a Saturday night, with witnesses reporting "explosions" and mysterious automobiles speeding away from the scene. There won't be any books or made for television movies trying to "get to the bottom" of the "mystery".
