Thought it might be fun to post a recipe our families enjoy that were posted by members here at the KT. I didn't realize how hard that was going to be!! So thank you all for taking the time to post those great recipes. Hope you keep them coming! This one gets tons of raves:

Quick Caramel Rolls (Nodakgal)

2 loaves frozen bread dough (thaw well, if it rises a little it will be ok)

Soft butter

Brown sugar

Cinnamon

Topping:

1/2 c. white sugar

1/2 c. brown sugar

3/4 c. PLUS 3 Tbsp. thick cream (whipping cream)

Let dough thaw. Roll out one loaf at a time and spread with butter, sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Roll up like a jelly roll, cut and put in a greased pan. Let rise until rolls touch each other.

Cover rolls with topping. Bake at 350 for approx. 15-20 minutes.

Nodakgal's notes: I just pour the caramel in the bottom of the pan and put the rolls on top and then let rise, bake and invert onto another pan. Also, the topping mix can be used on frozen cinnamon rolls.
