Where did you hear/read who the next Bachelor will be?

I'd love for Jake to be the next bachelor. I hope she picks Kipten but they always seem to pick the person I don't want in the end.

Can't wait to see Wes in teh hot seat next week.

I guess I didn't get it about what went wrong with her over-night with Ed. I still like him the best and wasn't too fond of Kipton's family, but do like him. Reid seemed imature for his age and too indecisive. Yes, next weeks hotseat will be interesting. Dottie

I like Ed but from the looks of it... he couldn't you-know-what! He explained to her during their talk that there isn't a problem like she thinks there might be. He swore. I think it's funny and embarassing for the poor guy. I think he truly loves her. Reid didn't look too broken up except for maybe his ego.

I think Ed would be a perfect match for her. Might be Kipton's lucky night if she doesn't pick him. I have a lot of questions about her...

I like Ed, but worry that his career will always take the front seat. Jillian commented on it as well and he said he is looking for her to keep things in check for him. Speaking from experience that can be a challenge. I felt bad for him after the bedroom incident...sunburned, tired and the pressure to...

Ed and Jillian have alot of physical chemistry, but I don't see much of anything else. She seems to laugh and have more fun with the other two. When Jillian was on the Bachelor with Jason, she kept saying that when she got married it was very important that he also be her best friend, not just the romance and sex. I just don't see that with Ed. But then again, it could be editing.

I liked Reid and appreciated his honesty that he is slow and somewhat uncomfortable expressing his feelings, and also that he may not be ready to propose. As far as Kypton, I don't feel much chemistry between them.

Next week's show should be very interesting.

I thought she made a huge mistake letting Jake go. Then I thought...well, Reid may be best suited for her. So, I was disappointed when she let him go. Very disappointed. I don't think Ed is all that and that is aside from the "problem" he had in the Fantasy Suite. Who wouldn't? With cameras there? He was probably thinking...I am not a porn star. Oh my heck...what was she thinking? As far as his career? Don't you need a job to survive? Why is his an issue and hers isn't? And Wes? I think it was A LOT of editing. I saw in interview with him after he did the exit. They ripped him I think. I wasn't crazy about him...but I am pretty sure now it was the editing. They NEED that bad boy in there for ratings. That's my opinion. :)

1. gay
2. indeed has a girlfriend

I find it "tacky" to be told for sure that sex is taking place on these overnight stays. I would have preferred the fact to be left in doubt. Doesn't this girl have any morals or sense of shame or any common sense at all? It doesn't bother her that the watching public was made privvy to these events?

And poor Ed, whether he's gay or has a girlfriend, did the subject of his limp bisquit have to be the topic of conversation? For goodness sake, wouldn't it have been okay just not to say anything at all? After all, the other 2 guys weren't rated, were they?

Listen, if Wes thinks he was mis-portrayed during this show, he ought to get on his hands and knees and thank the gods that they didn't do to him what the producers did to poor Ed.

OMG! Poor Ed. What social future does he have now? And business/work.....can you imagine the conversation around the water cooler?

I wouldn't blame him if he justs goes to a deserted island to live out his remaining days.

I can't fathom that Jill goes to bed with these guys night after night. and her parents are watching. I thought she had class forgoing the first time around. I meant that she kept Wes till the end 4 out of what 25..30? Sorry Ed does absolutely nothing for me and never did. Reid and Kypton were so classy looking standing there and Ed looked out of place. It will be interesting to see why she thinks she left the right one behind. Actually Reid and Kypton seem a little more classy than Jill who continues to use atrocious grammar sometimes.

Lily, I grit my teeth every single time (and there are many times per episode) that I hear, "Him and I" and words similar to those. Ugh!

What a crack-up it would be if it turns out Ed is the one with the GF and Wes was the sincere one. LOL

I just cannot take this train wreck of a show seriously.

Y'all are too funny. It's just a ridiculous show and each Bachelor/Bachelorette gets more insane than the one before it. This has to be scripted. Who would allow the world to be told that they're impotent? Surely this can't be!!! Wonder if the cameramen were encouraging him? Like cheerleaders!! I think how realistic this is is proven by the number of couples who have actually gotten married. Just another great comedy show! Oh, and her grammar is atrocious.

I agree, Vannie. It is such a farce -- completely unrealistic. Until this silly show I was never a fan of "reality" shows. Now I'm disgusted with myself for getting hooked on this. I'm going to stick to "Wipeout" -- much more real. LOL. As far as who Jillian picks, frankly, my dear I don't give a damn.

I didn't see many episodes of the Bachelor with Jillian on it. In fact, I think I only saw two episodes and the second was when she was one of the final three. I wasn't that impressed with her, and was in agreement with Jason that she was the one to leave that week.

I'm even less impressed with her now. I've only caught the last three (or is it only two) episodes of this Bachelorette; and Jillian just seems so whiny and needy. I just don't get why she feels the guy has to propose at the end. After all, SHE is the one doing the choosing - so SHE should be the one to propose!

Remember the Bachelorette who on the last episode had made her choice, and when the first guy came in (she was going to give him the old heave-ho), he got down on one knee and started to propose -- she had to stop him and tell him she had chosen the other guy? Well, the previews for the final episode have shown Jillian saying something like, "he got down on one knee and proposed" while she's sobbing. It's like she let one of the last two go after he'd proposed; then the other one comes in, she tells him she's chosen him, and the he tells her that he's not ready to propose...

As far as Ed's "inability" in the Fantasy Suite... all through all of the seasons of Bachelor and Bachelorette we've been led to believe two things - (1) they're behind closed doors and the camera does shut off and the production folks leave the room, so whatever happens, happens; and (2) although they spend the entire night together in the suite they don't have actual intercourse, they just cuddle, make out, and talk for hours and hours and perhaps even get some sleep, because it's against the rules for them to have actual sex. (After all, the contestants are paid for their time on the show, and then to put two of them together for sex is like pimping, which is against the law.)

So, now we have Jillian weeping because she was in the suite with Ed and he couldn't rise to the occasion. I don't blame him one bit. After all, the "other contenders," whether it's girls on the Bachelor or guys on the Bachelorette, have all said that they don't like to even think about him/her being with or kissing any of the others. So, it's entirely reasonable for someone who is in serious contention to NOT like the thought that "hey she's willing to boink me even though she may not end up choosing me, so what the heck might she have done with the other guys" --- which would/should be a real turn-off.

Thanks for the link to the blog. My two favorite guys on TV are Chris Harrison and Phil on Amazing Race. Looks like I'm not the only one who think Ed has weird taste in clothes. His shorts were 1970!! Never mine the pastel suit. I'm not as fond of Jillian as I thought I'd be.

I never thought that any of the Bachelors or Bachelorettes actually had sex in the Fantasy Suites. It's just a place to get cozy and talk in my opinion.

I just read on another Bachelorette site that Jill referred to Kip's impressive abs as "9 packs".

I thought they came in even numbers. (LOL)

If his abs are indeed 9's then his chest might look a bit odd, don't you think?

It IS addicting . My DD missed it and forgot to record it so I needed to supply details. We both hate ourselves in the morning.

It you watch the scene with Ed again you can tell the pictures they show after the light came on were from earlier when they were rubbing oil on each other. Notice every light and candle were burning and they were wearing the same clothes? The picture of Ed sitting on the balcony was also from earlier. Do you really think they got the camera crew and told them to come back in and lit every light and candle again?

As for Kip and Reid, you really don't know how long the camera crews were there. They just didn't show as much but they might have hung around a bit, too. We just don't know.

They move stuff around to make it looks like he couldn't perform but I don't think it was that at all. If anything I think they were both tired and sunburned.

I agree happyladi. I don't think it had anything to do with his inability to "perform", nobody ever actually said that, I think they just want us to believe that. I think that they just didn't get that intimate and went to bed instead, but they were trying to make it look like something was wrong with his equipment. They are setting us up to think it's going to go one way but it will really end up going another. Tricky editing.

I watched the episode and at the time I didn't think it was a "performance problem", then I read this thread and thought I had missed something. I just assumed there wasn't enough of the touchy-feely stuff going on between them for Jillian and that maybe Ed had fallen asleep a bit earlier than Jillian had expected?

Jillian and Ed both commented that they were really tired and sunburned. Being out in the sun all day really zaps your energy, even if you don't get burned. I think Jillian's problem is that she thought they would both just want to jump each other's bones, but both of them were so wiped out that neither one had the energy for even a heavy make-out session. So she thought something was wrong because that "raging desire" wasn't there.
