Healthy snacking

Just wondering what you all eat as healthy snacks. (I'm sure most of us also eat unhealthy snacks, but I'm curious about the good ones.)

I'm particularly asking about make-ahead snacks and snacks that are very simple. It seems like the unhealthy snacks are just so darned easy, so you often have a choice between a healthy snack that doesn't sound terribly appetizing *AND* that's going to take time to prepare vs. an unhealthy snack that's full of sugar and simple carbs and is readily available.

I'm asking about the "I'm hungry and dinner's two hours away" kind of snack, not the "I don't know whether I'm hungry, but I feel like eating" ones.

Some of the snacks I've been using, with more and less success, are:

1. Bowl of oatmeal (one of my favorites, because I love it and it's very filling)

2. Fruit with a piece of cheese or a few nuts to make it more filling

3. 1/2 cup of chickpeas sprinkled with a little cheese

4. Slice of whole grain bread with a little peanut butter

5. Handful of nuts (not great for me, because you don't get much volume for your calories!)

6. Smoothie made with frozen strawberries and nonfat yogurt or milk

7. Half a sandwich

8. A small portion of leftover dinner

I'd love to hear what you all do.
