Finally! I Planted a garden.

We have a long growing season here on the beautiful central coast of California.

We were gone in May and April is too early to plant.

I planted tomatoes, cucumbers, sweet and hot peppers, a tomatillo and some bush beans today. Also some basil.

I need to plant the marigolds here and there tomorrow.

I thought I had some seeds somewhere but they weren't where I thought they were.

I want to plant some pole beans, too.

I already have Italian parsley, oregano, thyme and French tarragon growing and a bay laurel.

I have a worm farm and decided to use some of the worm casings when I planted. Lots of red wrigglers and lots of eggs or whatever they are called. I think I need a bigger container.

It amazes me how quickly they multiplied....I started the worm farm a year ago with a handful or worms from my neighbor's supply.

How many others here have vegetable gardens?

What have you planted and when and how are things growing?
