To the KT gathering place. What do you think? All you crafty people list your favorite crafts, instructions, sites or projects. Whatever you think someone else would be interested in. Post some how to's.

I'm thinking about holiday crafts already.

Most places out here used to be straight fee for each table. But most boutiques are gone as women had to get jobs to keep afloat. I would check it out, maybe bring my lunch & sit in car or plan on eating out after you watch how many bags of goodies are being bought,after you have gone in & checked it out. Might talk to couple of ladies that have completely different type items to see if they like this place & are happy with sales since you are thinking you might be interested in doing it, since you now have more time on your hands. Note if most of stuff is "company made" Like Aunt Sally's Jams (on back it would say manufactured in KS) so you would know that is not made by the woman no matter how cutey the lid looks. Some women sold stuff they got at 99 cent stores as it was or added a ribbon or something, that always bugs me also. Find out if they start on time & is everyone set up by time doors open! If it isn't at least 50% handmade items I don't go back.(Hope there is no Aunt Sally's jams, I made that up for example)I loved Aunt Sally cookies, those long puffy gingerbready cookies with marshmallow -look icing!I should make some, I have a good recipe for them! I would try adding the easylist subscription again, it may not be updated, also be sure to clear the cache in firefox. Look at the list of ads that are being blocked by adblock plus if you see something new, not red select it and add to the block list, click on the adblock icon red stop sign down at the bottom. I am not seeing any of the ads when using firefox adblock plus easylist combo I am seeing them on my tablet with no firefox.

To those using Firefox, go to Tools (located on the Firefox toolbar) then click on Options. Open the Content Tab; the first box will say "Block pop-up windows". Make sure the box is checked. I use Firefox with Adblock Plus (and have the "block" box checked!); I never see ads. I understand the need for advertising but I only have basic DSL (all I can get in my area; until 3 months ago I was on dial-up) and only have so much time on the computer; I refuse to spend my limited online time waiting for ads to load. Hope this helps.

I understand they need to advertise, however it would be nice if it were just one row vs 2, it was only 1 line so that you could at least see if there are comments or not instead of having to scroll to check. I changed my zoom a little so that I can see if there are any posts to scroll down to or not.

This is a great idea, Joann. Since retirement 3 years ago, I've gone through several craft hobbies and would love to see everyone else's. Will wait to see what you do with this. There's a zillion sites on polymer clay, glass totems for the garden, fiber art (my favorite!) mosaics, and on and on. Thanks for all your work on your page, girl.

No, you don't have to be a member its just a web page of KT information through the years. Lots of recipes, photos, websites & fun stuff. Its NOT a message board. It's totally Non-profit.
You can email me your ideas or just post them here at the Kitchen Table.

I would love to see your crafts so include a picture & I'll have a photo page of your crafts.

All you have to do is type in at Google "KT gathering place" and it will take you right there.
