Easy way to move pictures from sdhc card to a cd?

I have Windows 7 if that matters. The last time I tried to do this I ended up with doubles of each picture on the CD plus it seemed more time consuming than it should have been.

Insert a blank CD into your burner/cd/dvd drive.

A window should popup (unless you have autoplay disabled).

Choose "BURN FILES TO DISC"

I choose the second option - that way the disc will be playable in any drive.

Select your files to be put on the disc

Then select burn and follow the wizard and it will burn them (this works for both CD's and DVD's.)

I picked the easy way out and bought for under $100 a USB turntable that connects to my computer. Software made by Cakewalk came with it as well as Audacity, but the Cakewalk software is very easy to use. I can save in different formats, burn to CD, etc. So much easier than any of the other methods I have read about. The turntable I bought is made by Audio-Technica, although there are several different brands available. I found mine by doing a search using Google, and after I decided on this brand, I searched for the best price I could find. I bought through an online merchant for a price much better than CC or BB for the same model. Sad to say, I haven't done very much with it as yet, converting only a few albums to digital, but I listen to the albums just for the fun of it. By the way, it has a dust cover, so I have it sitting on a little table next to my computer desk.

I am considering the induction cooktop with my kitchen remodel. I am reading above about airflow under the unit. Under my cooktop are 2 pull out shelves for pot storage. Is that going to cause a problem? I ask because of what was said above and quoted just below here: Posted by blt_in_nm (My Page) on Sat, Oct 20, 07 at 12:31 "The install instructions for the GE also say to not have a shelf wider than 18" from the back of the cabinet, and it seems like a built-in oven would violate that. The airflow is from vents in the front (beneath the counter surface) to two small muffin fans on the bottom surface. Without a place to draw in fresh air, it seems like you would just be recirculating the hot air beneath the unit (in the 12" space or whatever you get with an oven)" Am I going to have a problem storing pots and pans under the cooktop and I truly do NOT understand the 18 inch shelf comment? Is the 18 inches meant back to front or? Thanks in advance to anyone who can clear this up for me. Asking some of the salesman is like asking the little boy next door. So many really have no clue beyond the price.

Amex has always charged more than the other cc companies. Others have already pointed out that those mall cc purchases really hit small businesses hard. We have customers that are kind enough to be aware of that and write checks or use their debit card, or even, believe it or not, pay in cash. A lot of you have mentioned Costco. I've never shopped at one because they're just not convenient to me, but I used to shop at Sam's. I quit doing that years ago because they had an annual fee, and I didn't feel like I was saving enough to make up for that annual fee. Most of what I got at Sams I could buy as a loss leader at a regular grocery store. I've also not found coupons to be very useful, because they're rarely for real food, just processed food. After seeing several stories on the news, and listening to co-workers, I broke down and bought a Sunday paper several weeks ago for the coupons. Boy, was I disappointed. I spent $2.00 on the paper, and maybe found that much worth in coupons that I might use, (which I have to admit I've forgotten about), and then I had all this mess of paper to deal with. What I need to record albums to CD or computer. So confused.

Hi, I downloaded this software from the website listed below to record my albums and tapes to CD, using the computer. It was very easy to use. The program comes with audible instructions and wizards to walk you through it (including which jacks to use on your computer). It will automatically set the record level or you can adjust it however you like. It did not require a pre-amp...just plug in the tape deck to your computer. The turntable may or may not need a pre-amp, but the program will detect it, to let you know.I got the wire to hook it up at Radio Shack for just a few dollars. One end will have the RCA ends for your stereo equipment, and the other end will have the miniature jack for your computer. There was no loss of quality, and I was able to actually get a better sound on some songs with the built in equalizer. Hook the stereo equipment to the computer, put a blank CD-R disc in the drive, and the program will do the rest. Hope this helps. Here is a link that might be useful: Record Albums to CD

I am having a problem now though that all my pictures are over 3000 kb each and I have 300 pictures ready to burn, but my cd isn't large enough. Is there a way to make the pictures smaller or should I buy a flashdrive maybe??

I would NOT reduce the size of your pictures. You can't go back on that one - and you may want the higher quality at some point.

Why not use DVD's - they hold SO much more than a cd.

I actually prefer an external hard drive. They are getting so cheap! The one I use is super portable - it is about the size of my phone!

It is USB powered, so I do not have to plug it in to a power outlet.

I could even take it to a photo machine and plug it in (via USB, just like a flash drive) and print pictures if I wanted.
