Been making the bread and pie for over 30 years. It's a Southern Living recipes. Funny on the cantaloupe bread. I made three loaves of it for my Mexican train group, as a prize to the winner. THen I brought out two more for the other two. I used smaller pans to make 3 loaves. One gal, I had them wrapped in seran wrap, and she unwrapped and began eating like an ice cream cone. SO funny! Called her later than nite, and she had finished the whole thing before she went to bed. One cantaloupe, will usually make 4 cups, so I always have some puree frozen.. I can't remember who it was that posted the recipe for the Rolos melted with a Pecan half on top, but I just want to say that they were a huge hit! Everyone wanted the recipe! I am not a baker so these were perfect. I gave my nieces, nephews and BIL'S, SIL'S each a plate of shortbread cookies and a bag of these yummy treats. DH has been picking at the left overs for 2 days now. Thank you!
