I am not a computer geek so my knowledge on this subject is limited. I downloaded the free Yahoo Toolbar last year. It has a zapper on it that makes a noise when it blocks an ad - reminds me of a flyswatter killing flies. It does a good job. What is really annoying is the ads that cover up what you are reading. You have to sit there and let it go through its thing because there is no x box to kill it. I have found this mainly on newspaper sites. The Yahoo zapper doesn't kill those. I call them popovers! The forum is so slooooooooow to come up under iVillage. Also, it frequently 'forgets' me and I have to log in again. Sometimes I have to wade through all those things I never use like my page, my want list, etc. before I can get to the actual forum. I agree that Spike did a better job. Walter Moores

the very best way to get rid of all of them including the new inline ads GW warned about putting on recently is to use firefox browser with the adblock plus add on and the easylist subscription, it blocks them all, I see no ads anywhere. Firefox Adblock Plus 1.1.3 once you have that then go to the easylist page below, go to the 2 yellow lines for easylist and easyprivacy to the right where it says add to ABP click there and it will be added to your adblock plus and you will be all done EasyList and it is a very good idea to have at least 2 browsers on every pc in case something should happen to your IE browser.

In the case of these double-flowering plants, red coloration is simply what happens after the blooms have gone through all previous phases and are spent and dried (and have not become sun-scorched, in which case they'd be brown). Typically you'll see most dark reds come Fall. This happens on MANY H Macs. Now, Photo 3 shows a F&E Together that has blooms affected by acid soil, alkaline soil, a half-spent bloom (pink with red speckles) and two fully spent blooms (dark red). Aluminum sulfate or coffee grounds are more likely to give you purples if you have naturally alkaline soil. Soil pH would have little to zero effect on spent bloom color as they're dead and no longer pigmented. As far as reliability goes, Together can bloom on new wood. I've had Perfection for 3 years and it's never bloomed once. Miss Saori is relatively new and hasn't made the rounds yet. As MS is bicolored, I would suspect the inner flowers would remain light in color while the edges would be varying shades of pink or red.

I hear ya D2G, we all have plenty of those missed opportunities in our homes. I know I have tons! It certainly doesn't make your home any less beautiful! However, I would not draw attention to it with a FP screen, except maybe one of those fold over types Flo mentioned-they tend to stand higher. I also wouldn't buy anything else for the mantle. You don't need to match the art, and you have so many lovely things. I would sooner see your beautiful clock and candelabras, though not "perfect," because they are a piece of your story.
