From my CaringBridge Journal

just so I don't have to keep retyping all the news...here's a copy and paste from my Journal at CaringBridge.

Here in Texas when we are excitedâ¦we yell....Yahoo! Well I donâÂÂt know if I ever have done that but thatâÂÂs what I see and hear that Texans do so here ya go.

YAHOO!

How many times I need to say it to make you all understand that itâÂÂs a wonderful day here at Rancho G. We have just returned from visiting with the Oncologist and getting the reports from all the tests I had last week. And the only thing I can say is â¦I am thrilled to report to you â¦The scans were all the same. Again I wonâÂÂt bore you with the Doctor language but trust me when I tell you that what they said was â¦No sign of cancer. I donâÂÂt even have to go back for four months. So I have the summer off without worrying about DoctorâÂÂs appointments or blood tests etc.

My Beloved has been there with me through thick and thin and has held my hand when I felt weak and teary and made me eat when I didnâÂÂt want too. I canâÂÂt even imagine how I could have managed without his help and I am so appreciative and thankful to have him in my corner. I want to tell you, too, that I so appreciate the support that you all have given me. I so love all the posts here at CaringBridge and the emails and cards and phone calls that I have received. You have helped me stay positive and have helped me to keep my chin up. I know that I am not home free but for now I am and thatâÂÂs all that countsâ¦One day, one week, or one month at a time. Thank you â¦Thank you â¦Thank you⦠all for the prayers and good wishes. Keep them coming and not just for me but all those fighting this stinking battle with cancerâ¦

Big Hugs to you allâ¦

Ruthie G.
